IS GOD IN CONTROL?
Job 9:12
Behold, He taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?
One of the greatest errors (sins) today is the belief that Man is in control of their own destiny. That somehow God created us and then took his hands off the wheel of our lives, and now it is up to us to work it all out.
Now I want to start this essay by making one thing clear. I do believe we have CHOICE. As God sets before us Life and Death and we are told to choose Life. But this article is going to explain how, just because we have choice, it doesn’t necessarily mean God is not Sovereign and Man has Free Will. So yes, we do make choices every moment of every day, but each choice has a consequence, and you will learn from this article that God has designed this experience so that his creation (Christ in Us) will be finished in Victory. I use the example of Jonah, he thought he had a choice, but really he only chose how his experience would be. So we will see in this article, that we simply have the illusion of “free will” and how it is natural man’s desire to be in control that is the root of all the problems we face in our lives today.
For example, in the Religion of Christianity, many will say, “I chose Christ”… They believe it is their “choice” that saved them… Then I ask them, “Did you choose really?”
John 6:70
Jesus answered them, Have not I CHOSEN you twelve
Matthew 12:18
Behold my servant, whom I have CHOSE; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
Acts 13:17
The God of this people of Israel CHOSE our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.
1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a CHOSEN generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light
There are so many other scriptures that make it clear. We didn’t choose God, God chose us.
Ephesians 1:4
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Not only did he CHOOSE us, and CREATE US, but he CHOSE us so we would be HOLY, BLAMELESS and without SPOT… Now who reading this believes God does what he says, and says what he does?
The truth is, most don’t believe that at all. Fewer still believe God is in control of anything really, except some future punishment for those that didn’t “choose” Him. What a terrible lie has been swallowed by those who believe such things.
The very people that I ask, “Did you choose Christ?” after I share a couple of scriptures with them… like this one.
John 6:44
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Then they say, “Well I didn’t choose Christ, Christ chose me.” To which I say, awesome!… Then I go on and say, “But if you believe that to be true, than why do you say, “IT IS UP TO US TO GET SAVED?”"
You see, that is the big mistake going around in Religion today. Natural man wants to believe, Natural Man is in charge, when in fact the opposite is true. Natural man goes on about FREE WILL, our CHOICE, etc. etc… But what choice do any of us really have, if GOD WILLS AND DOES ALL FOR HIS GOOD PLEASURE?
Romans 9:16
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
This is a hard lesson, I know. But what if, the ONE THING holding us back from the KINGDOM OF GOD, is the BELIEF that WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING to inherit it?
What if, the spirit of ANTICHRIST is the THOUGHT within that we are somehow in control of our destiny?
Job 9:12

Paul understood God was in control of all things.
1 Corinthians 4:4
For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
Paul knew NOTHING was in his control. As Jesus did. “I can do nothing of myself”
John 8:54
Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
Jesus couldn’t glory in Himself, because it is GOD WITHIN that does the work.
So where does this doctrine of Free Will come from? I’ll tell you, no worrying about holding your breath. It comes from the Natural Man…
Our Carnal Ego, Our Lust for Control. Our “LUCIFER” spirit or “ADAMIC” nature as some call it. Man wants to be God, because GOD IS IN CONTROL. So Man says, it is up to MANKIND to save. Yet, in scripture time and time again, we see, It is GOD ALONE THAT SAVES.
Isaiah 43:11
I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
Then some will say, “Oh but you HAVE to choose!” And my answer is all do, eventually, for God makes everything Beautiful in ITS TIME.
Romans 14:11
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Now, if MAN was in control, not every knee would bow, and not every tongue would confess. Because Mankind is too busy trying to be god themselves. But here is where the beauty of God’s Sovereignty comes to play.
It is in our ignorance, in our sin, in our belief that we are in control that God begins to change us. For he put a great LAW before us all, so that He would not be mocked, and that He would be worshipped by his creation.
Galatians 6:7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
AH, here is the way God turns the hearts of Fathers to the SON. We reap what we sow. This is a teaching found ALL OVER SCRIPTURE. “Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth” Here are some others.
Luke 6 36-38
Judge not, and you shall not be judged.
Condemn not, and you will not be condemned
Forgive and you will be forgiven
For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Luke 6:29
And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.
Matthew 5:7
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
2 Corinthians 9:6
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
God uses our lives, our victories, defeats, our joys, our sufferings, our “accidents”, to teach us and to bring us to the knowledge of the Truth.
Acts 14:22
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
So many people keep talking about the GREAT TRIBULATION that is to come. In the future, however, we know better.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life, he that believes IN ME, though he were dead will live” – In other words, we have to come to the KNOWLEDGE of the TRUTH to be FREE. To LIVE! And to get there, we go through a great tribulation. Because we have been tricked into believing WE ARE IN CONTROL.
Revelation 7:15
And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, “they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.
For those who consider this to be some future event, in some distant heaven. Let me point out that, the THRONE OF GOD is WITHIN. We are the TEMPLE, and after much tribulation we enter into God’s rest and serve him day and night.
Which means, we stop believing we are in control. We know GOD IS SOVEREIGN, working all things together for the good of those that love the Lord. We need to stop believing WE are in control, we have to let go of the Natural (Carnal) man’s ideas of free will, and learn, as Jesus said, “We can do nothing of ourselves”
Romans 9:16

Let me explain further. Sure, we all make choices, thousands and thousands are made each day. Sure, we can do right and do wrong. But God’s will is ALWAYS DONE and NOTHING CAN SEPARATE us from His purpose and plan. – That’s the good news people.
Romans 8:39
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
That’s the good news. Nothing can keep us from God’s plan…The Bad news is, we must REAP what we have SOWN. This is how God’s directs a man’s steps. God course corrects as we go about our lives.
Look at the story of Jonah. God says, “Go here”… Jonah says, “Heck no!” Jonah goes in the opposite direction, God sends a storm, Jonah realizes his mistakes, ends up in the Belly of a Great Fish and finally submits to God’s will. Jonah arrives at Ninevah exactly at the time God had planned.
Jonah’s “choice” merely decided how Jonah would get to Ninevah. However, Jonah had no choice in the going. HE WAS GOING come HELL or FISH BELLY, which actually are the same thing.
In fact, I challenge any of you to show me one person in the Bible that had a choice other than God’s will.
This is our prayer – “God’s will be done, in heaven as it is on earth” – That is the prayer, that the TRUTH will be revealed and adhered to.
So the question remains, why does God send us trouble when we steer off course?
Well, one needs look no further, than a parent reprimanding a child who is about to cross the street without looking both ways. It is for our own Good. God is delivering us from the Hell we are all in, because we have fallen into the belief that WE ARE IN CONTROL = We are god.
So our “HELL” (which is our ignorance, our suffering) becomes the TOUCHSTONE (torment) God uses to drive us out of this Babylonian like thinking.
The problem is we are so married to the thought that we are god, that we are in control, that we don’t see the signs along the way. We don’t learn on our own. So God needs to get our attention, and boy does God do this.
1 Corinthians 11:32
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
This judgment takes place in the HOUSE OF GOD, in US. Don’t believe all the hype that this is some future event. That will keep you in the hell you are in right now. The judgment is God’s way of correcting us, to be conformed to His Image (Christ), which is our HOPE.
God does not want us TO CONTINUE on in condemnation in this world. And NO, condemnation is NOT some infinite torture (read: my article To Hell with Hell) … but read what Jesus tells us condemnation is.
John 3:19
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
The condemnation is to not know the TRUTH, not having the REVELATION of CHRIST WITHIN. The Condemnation is the belief YOU ARE IN CONTROL. This is why many refuse to come to the LIGHT (Word, Truth, Spirit of Christ, God’s Son)…
This is why you hear RELIGIOUS TEACHES talking about how many were SAVED at their service. Some even go so far as to teach that we must INVITE Christ into our hearts to be saved… Forgetting that CHRIST IS OUR LIFE… That everything EXISTS IN CHRIST, MADE BY CHRIST, FOR CHRIST.
To ignorantly teach that God ’s Christ is somehow far from you WAITING for you to INVITE HIM IN, is to teach that YOU ARE IN CONTROL, that God NEEDS YOU to SAVE YOURSELF. Thus, perpetuating the CONDEMNATION that these blind guides and sheep are already in.
But God, like a Father who loves his children, corrects this, so we won’t remain in the condemnation of ignorance.
Hebrews 12:7
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Think about this for a second. What choice does your heart have to beat? Can you choose to get your hair to grow? Can you choose to get the rain to fall? Can you really choose anything at all? What choice did you have when it came to your color, race, parents, country? What choice do you have when an accident happens, or when a disease strikes?… The answer is NO choice at all.
But yet Man, in his finite wisdom (folly) believes that when it comes to the MOST IMPORTANT THING THERE IS (Salvation) that it is up to MANKIND to CHOOSE… Can you see the foolishness in this thinking?
This is what our problem is, we believe we have CHOICE. And if we have Choice, that means we must WORRY about the choices we make, right? Well, what does Jesus tell us to do.
Matthew 6: 25Therefore I say unto you, TAKE NO THOUGHT for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Jesus here is clearly saying “TAKE NO THOUGHT” … Wait a minute, doesn’t CHOICE take THOUGHT?
It is the greatest lie mankind has been told, and it is being perpetuated in the Churches, Temples, Mosques, Kingdom Halls, etc. etc. all around the world… That MAN must do something on his own. That, MAN MUST CHOOSE! … And it is because of MAN’S SO CALLED CHOICE, we find the DEATH that we are all in.
So, how do we escape such condemnation? … Well, God uses everyone around us, every thing we posses, or possesses us, everything that happens in our life to correct us. Even the wicked, God calls his sword.
Psalm 17:13
Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:
So many people today, blame the “Enemy” for all the problems in their lives. And they are right, the ENEMY is the problem, but MOST cannot see that it is the ENEMY is THEY, THEMSELVES.
Their FLESH, their want for control, their EGO, they are the ANTICHRIST that is in the world (Lusts of the flesh, eyes, pride of life)… The ANTICHRIST sitting on the throne of God, declaring himself to be God… It is YOUR EGO. Your belief that your choices matter at all.
You want to know why your life is the way it is? One needs look no further, then one’s one actions.
Romans 8:13
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
If we live after our Natural Thoughts (Adamic Thoughts) if we continue to believe WE are in control, then we will continue on in DEATH (Ignorance, suffering), but when we understand that GOD is SOVEREIGN, meaning in CONTROL OF ALL things. Then we will be free.
Then our suffering will come to its end. Then our pain will be no more.
When trouble comes our way, we will no longer blame some outside enemy, but we will know the trouble is there to put to rest the ENEMY that is WITHIN (antichrist spirit = natural thinking) – US!
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
And what is condemnation again? … That’s right, to be ignorant of the truth and to suffer because of it. So how does God bring our ignorance and our stubborn ego into submission?
Well I believe God has so great a plan that it cannot, and will not fail. Few in RELIGION, regardless of what RELIGION that may be, believe this. They teach a God that is fallable, that Man MUST HELP. This is why, they do not submit to God’s will. They believe people will be lost, they believe and teach that it is up to us, to do this or that. Remember the FLESH profits nothing and to teach this is to continue spreading the LIE that MANKIND IS IN CONTROL. When they are not.
Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Today, I am going to share, what I believe is one of the most important lessons for us all to learn. REAPING AND SOWING. And how this MAJOR PRINCIPLE, will not only help each and every one of us to come out of our suffering, but it will help us to understand why we are suffering to begin with. And how even these hard times are being used to bring about the GLORY THAT IS WITHIN… Which, or course, is CHRIST!
You see, God could have chosen chocolates and milkshakes to bring us into his rest, but he chose the furnace of affliction… And why are we afflicted?
2 Corinthians 1:6
And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
We are afflicted for our own good. And the PRINCIPLE of REAPING AND SOWING is the reason. You see, it’s all about cause an effect. We see this in the physical, we NEED to realize this in the spiritual. Our actions, thoughts and words are like a boomerang, once they are released they come back and man can it hurt if they be unclean.
Here is a great truth, if you can accept it. Whatever your circumstances are, they are a direct link to what is going on spiritually in your life. As much as it stinks as a pair of one of my kids dirty old sneakers, making mistakes and paying the price is the best teacher there is.
A child puts its finger into an electrical socket once, gets shocked, for the rest of that individuals life they will know not to do that again.
Such is the principle God has set before us.
Galatians 6:7
Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Now many have twisted scriptures like these to mean, if you Give Money, you will receive money. To SOW YOUR SEED into a certain ministry, organization, or church, and if you do this you will receive manifold blessings in return. Now I will admit, it is BETTER TO GIVE than to RECEIVE, and yes, when you help others, you will find help in your time of need as well. As the LAW of REAPING AND SOWING is not one-sided.
However, many have taken the Word of God and compared it to money. For the SEED, indeed is the TRUTH, the Spirit of God within. This is what we MUST SOW, the TRUTH.
Luke 8:11
Now the parable is this: The SEED is the word of God.
So every time you hear someone telling you to SOW YOUR SEED. Remember what the SEED is. Do not Change God’s Pure Word into filthy money. Don’t play the spiritual lottery. Don’t give to get. God knows the intentions of our heart. God knows why a man, or woman, does what they do, when they do it.
Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
Scripture says, a Man’s enemy is in his own home (which is symbolic of our mind) – For truly, the only enemy there is, is the NATURAL MAN’ EGO, the lies and negative thoughts it creates about others and itself.
And of course, whatever is without is within. So we will see our spiritual enemies manifest as “enemies” outside of us as well, whether that be neighbors, people at work, in-laws, brothers, sisters, mother’s, fathers, yes even children or step children… God will use every tool at his disposal to correct your course to bring you into peace, unity, and joy. To bring you to the understanding the GOD IS ALL IN ALL.
We see it time and time again in the Old Testament, a man of God or nation would do wrong, and God would bring an ENEMY against them.
1 Kings 11:14
And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king’s seed in Edom.
Yes, it is God, not the spooooky man made Devil that does this. God sends our enemies, to humble us and prepare us for what is to come. When we realize our enemies are “unknowingly” doing the will of God to better our spiritual growth, and helping further us into the Kingdom of Peace, we will rejoice! Then we will watch our troubles fall away.
This is why, when trouble comes we need to CONSIDER, “Lord what do I need to learn from this?” Instead of getting all your friends together to pray the trouble away.
1 Chronicles 29:11 “Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.”
God is in control of it all people. Every problem and every blessing in your life. GOD IS AT WORK in it ALL.
Ecclesiastes 7:14 In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.
God is in control. So pray “Not MY WILL Lord, but yours be DONE” –
Because it is THE NATURAL MAN’S WILL to be in control that has us all suffering the way we are today. This means, you give up thinking you can work your way to God. You give up believing you can help God to save another. You give up telling people WHAT THEY MUST DO TO HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, unless it is you TELLING THEM, that God is in control of it all!
When you realize this, THAN YOU WILL BE SAVED.
Hebrews 4:10
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
You cannot ENTER GOD’S REST, which is the COMPLETION of Christ’s revelation IN YOU, if you do not STOP BELIEVING YOU CAN DO THIS OR THAT TO GAIN IT.
Job understood, that God’s will could not be thwarted, that God gives and takes away. The very number of the hairs on your head, God controls. Why is man so quick to think that he can keep God from doing what he wants to do? … The answer, stupidity!
But, there is GREAT NEWS. If God be in control, that means there is nothing we can do to thwart God’s will (which is to have all men to be saved).
You think the desires in your heart are YOURS? wrong! God gives you the desires of your heart.
“He made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment– to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.”
You want freedom, you want peace, you want to have a fulfilled life? Then understand that you can do NOTHING OF YOURSELF, that GOD IS ALL IN ALL! That God is in control! That is the answer you all have been waiting to hear.
The question is… Do you believe it?

IS JESUS GOD OR WAS GOD IN JESUS?
Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I change not.”
GOD IS THE SAME, YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW!
IS THE SON?
Hebrews 11:1 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things.
SO IS JESUS GOD OR WHAT?
This is the big question on everyone’s mind. Many different religions make different claims as to who, and what, Jesus is?
Here are some QUESTIONS that pop up:
Is Jesus God? Is God Jesus? Is Jesus only God’s son? Is Jesus just a prophet? Is Jesus a Man like you and I, the image of God?
The list of questions over the divine, or less than divine, nature of the man with salvations plan in hand, JESUS, has been debated for more than a couple of centuries LOL.
Few know the History of how Jesus came to be known as God and worshipped as God, and why there are pictures, statues, and a host of other “Icons” that represent this GodMan (as He came to be known after the votes were cast and the decision was made) BY RELIGIOUS MEN and POLITICIANS AND PRINICIPALITIES AND POWERS… (Don’t we wrestle against such?) …ahhhh never mind about that now.
But when the Divinity of Jesus was established as Man Made Doctrine, it wasn’t the ONLY major Doctrine establised by men, there were many others… Oh yes, what a web has been weaved indeed. But I am no history teacher, so GOOGLE IT and find out for yourself! Don’t believe everything people tell you is true, without checking it out yourself.
Then you’ll learn when, and where, the Divinity of Jesus was discussed and why today a majority of “Christians say” the Man Jesus is the G to the O to the D, That’s right “Church” a majority say the Man Jesus is GOD! While a minority say that God was IN Jesus. And my neighbor says Jesus, is actually another name for ZEUS… But you haven’t met my neighbor. He has Trident and probably thinks he is god of the sea… I better settle down or he might send the Kracken on me!
But back to the discussion at hand, or foot, or belly button.
So today’s essay is about the big Kahuna, the J-MAN, Yeshua himself. Whether Jesus is GOD or Not. It would have been nice for him to clear that whole mess up for us and just come out and said, “I, Jesus am GOD!” BUT NO! The Jesus only said he was the SON OF GOD… So, we must dive deep and see what pearls we find.
In JOHN CHAPTER 7 verse 16. “Jesus answered them and said, MY Doctrine (Teaching) is NOT MINE, but HIS that sent me. 17 – If ANY MAN will do HIS WILL, He shall know of that Doctrine, whether it be of GOD or whether I speak of MYSELF (jesus)
You see that would just clear the matter up for most. Where Jesus is clearly saying, he is not TEACHING his TEACHING, but what GOD TAUGHT HIM TO TEACH. He isn’t saying, I am teaching MY TEACHING AND SPEAKING OF MYSELF… he clearly makes a distinction between God’s words and his own. BUT, I know I have to do better than share one scripture with you… So come along, join in the fun as we find out. If Jesus be God, or if God and Jesus be One. (I’m a poet and I KNOW IT:))
Many pray to Jesus today as God, and picture God as the Man Jesus. Many worship what God created, the man “Jesus” as the Creator… And maybe they are right, then again maybe they are not. Confused yet?
Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an IMAGE made like to CORRUPTIBLE MAN, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and WORSHIPPED AND SERVED THE CREATURE more than the Creator.
Paul is basically telling the Romans that they started worshipping MAN, MANKIND as God, as opposed to worshipping GOD, which, by the way NO MAN has ever seen, AT ANY TIME.
John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time,
So we see the dilemma. If Jesus is NOT GOD, but the SON OF GOD, and we are worshipping Jesus as God as opposed to seeing him as the express IMAGE OF GOD, then we could be involved in a scandal bigger than Jon Edwards. We could find ourselves in more hot water that Pat Robertson over his meat-head comment about the tragedy in Haiti (If that is possible).
Look, if we believe Jesus to be God, and claim this Man such, and this is yet another false teaching that could keep up from the KINGDOM OF GOD, then we wouldn’t want that, right? I said… RIGGHHHHHTTT?
I know if you believe Jesus is God, or if you believe Jesus is not God, then reading this article may make you grumpy or happy. Either way, I hope your brave enough to read on, regardless of what you believe. Then make your comments known, show me how wrong or right, what I have written is. Then I will go to my room and cry quietly in the corner because of your harsh rejection, or I will dance around and sing Karaoke because you see some truth in what I presented.
SO LET’S START ALREADY JACOB…. MAN, dude can type!
We know that there is ONE God. One Lord, One Spirit, One Baptism… ONE GOD that is in all and through all. ONE.
Granted, many teach that this ONE, is actually THREE IN ONE. I myself used to picture the THRONE OF GOD like this. In the center is Father GOD, long beard, white robes, HUGE HANDS etc. To his right, there sits Jesus, blue eyes, brown hair, well kept beard, handsome, etc. And of course the 3rd seat is for the Holy Spirit. This seat is empty because it’s the HOLY SPIRIT, who is invisible, invisible like Wonder Woman’s jet… How cool was that jet, huh? Then again, how did she find it? Or was it just so the animators didn’t need to draw a jet everytime… Ah the mysteries of comics… Eh, more pressing matters at hand.
The question I pose today is… Are many misled into worshipping something they should not. If there is only ONE GOD, and ONE SON (Humanity, either dead in ADAM (Soulish ways) or Risen in CHRIST (QUICKENING SPIRIT) then why the confusion?
And if Jesus is GOD, then why the confusion?
Well if you’re wondering why there is confusion, one needs look no further than the passage below, because we should let God be true and every man a liar.
Romans 3:4
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar
First of all, we all would agree Jesus never came out and said. “I am God” … He did say “Before Abraham was (I AM)” – But let’s be real, according to scripture, before Abraham was, WE ALL WERE AS WELL… And we don’t go around claiming to be God, DO WE? — And No, I’m not talking about you “Crazy Carl” on the corner.
So if this Jesus God Man teaching is error then why are so many intent on teaching that Jesus is God. Doesn’t the fact that so many believe something is true, make it true? … Doesn’t i? COME ON CHURCH! Doesn’t it?
Of course not! Most didn’t believe Jesus was EVEN THE SON OF GOD, so much so, that they killed him. And we know they weren’t right just because everyone agreed. “they knew not what they did”
Most believe I’m a crazy Christian who is intent on stirring so many pots that no one will like me ever again, does that make it true? … Okay… bad example! 
I believe the answer is simple. Man wants to worship a MAN. We all love our IDOLS… We, just like back in the day, worship the STARS! Can anyone say Brad and Angelina? HELLO!!!! We even WORSHIP HOLY WOOD, we call it Hollywood. And the AMERICAN IDOL goes to TAYLOR HICKS! Remember him, what ever happened to that guy? Okay, maybe Taylor wasn’t our idol, but many others are.
So, Man wants to worship Man. That would be ONE reason to worship the Man Jesus as God… And scripture clearly tells us, that Jesus was a MAN. “The Man Jesus Christ”
But we need more proof than that Watson! We can’t go on what we think may or may not be true.
Many look to John Chapter One as the answer… But if you read carefully, and closely inspect the text. John 1 is not saying Jesus is God, John states the Word (God’s Truth and Spirit) is GOD… And then goes on to say that “the law came by Moses, but grace and truth by Jesus Christ..” Many will say this line makes it clear that Jesus is the Word which is also God. But does it?
What the scripture is teaching is that MOSES brought us God’s Law, it wasn’t Moses’ law that he delivered, it was God’s Law.With that in mind, it wasn’t Jesus’ Grace and Truth that Jesus brought, it was the revelation of God’s Grace and Truth that Jesus brought, as Jesus was the WORD OF GOD revealed IN MAN! … I wrote a whole essay on JOHN 1, which really goes into detail about this. It’s on this blog, called “Word Became Flesh” check it out, it might surprise you.
But let’s stay on topic for once shall we? And I PROMISE you I have so much scripture here for us to discuss, so STAY WITH ME. I triple dogs dare you. Then comment away people and see where the scriptures and truth falls.
CONTINUING ON:
In the beginning was the WORD.. this is the commandment, the will, the truth, the spirit of God…The WORD is not a flesh man named Jesus.
The WORD was revealed in the FLESH MAN named Jesus… In the BEGINNING was the WORD, not JESUS the Man. Jesus (as we’ve come to know Him), the flesh man didn’t even appear on the scene until much, much later. And who did Jesus say he was, THE SON OF GOD!
Good class, you get an “A”… Jesus in his own words told us, He was the Son of God, and Jesus was a MAN. As was, ADAM, who by the way is also the Son of God.
Adam was the 1st MAN (soulish/ignorant) and Jesus was the LAST (Enlightened/resurrected). – These are symbols people, allegories, parables, literal or non literal aside, they are for our learning, and the story is ours as well. But moving on.
Jesus was the LAST ADAM (Man)… Clearly making his humanity known.
So why the confusion, why isn’t it clear? Well I believe the scriptures are clear, it is man’s interpretation of scripture that clouds the issue. And Hundreds of years of indoctrination and teaching that makes this such a tough topic to touch.
Keep in mind, while reading this essay that never once did Jesus say he was God. He called himself two things “The Son of Man” and “The Son of God”
I started this essay with a quote from Malachi = God doesn’t change. We must keep this in mind as well.
Now let’s go Old School and see with the Old Testament says God is and what God is NOT. Let us see what we CAN compare God to and what we CANNOT.
In Deuters 4 we see that when God “appeared to Mankind” he did not appear in any VISIBLE FORM, and we learn we should NEVER liken God to Man or Beast, or Stars in the Sky, basically anything that is seen… CHECK IT!
DEUT 4:15 YOU SAW NO FORM of any kind the day the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire. Therefore watch yourselves very carefully, 16 so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman, 17 or like any animal on earth or any bird that flies in the air, 18 or like any creature that moves along the ground or any fish in the waters below. 19 And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars—all the heavenly array—do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the LORD your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.
Pretty clear, we shouldn’t be setting up any corrupt images of God as a Man or Woman. But let’s go further.
We know the Old testament teaches us to NEVER liken God to anything in the world, animal, mineral, man, beast, anything.
God says, do not compare to HIM to anything in the earth, in the sea, below or above the earth, etc. etc. Yet many “Christians” often Compare God to a Fish on their bumper, or a Cross around their neck, or the big Kahuna Himself, Jesus in paintings, statues, etc.
Could this be man’s biggest offense? Worshipping the Image of Jesus “the Man” as Jesus “the God”, as opposed to seeing Jesus is the image of GOD… God’s only begotten SON, which is the only way to the FATHER… Which is what scripture clearly says Jesus Christ is.
Colossians 1:15
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Can GOD be born? — Hhhmnnnnnnn.
God made man in his IMAGE, which is JESUS CHRIST. Now let’s chit chat about what an IMAGE of Something is, and what an Image is not.
The Image of Something is NOT the Something, it is merely a REPRESENTATION of that Something. Which makes that SOMETHING KNOWN… Make sense? I sure hope so, because I am CONFUSED by what I just wrote.
I would also like to draw attention to the words “INVISIBLE GOD” – Invisible is NOT VISIBLE. Being invisible is something I know a thing or two about. When I was a youngster, BEING INVISIBLE AND FLYING were my two COVETED favorite superpowers… So, believe me… YOU CAN’T SEE AN INVISIBLE GOD, just like you can’t see me, when I wear my neighbor cloke of invisibility (I’m telling you, the dude is wacky!)
So you cannot see an INVISIBLE GOD, but the INVISIBLE GOD can be man MANIFEST (REVEALED) BY ITS IMAGE. (Jesus Christ) So, you CAN see THE IMAGE of the INVISIBLE GOD.
This is the whole point of Humanity and Jesus to begin with. “Let us make MAN in our IMAGE”
Everywhere we turn today, we see pictures of Jesus, statues, paintings, he is found in movies, on tv, cartoons etc. etc. But is this the way it should be? Should we be teaching others that “God is Man” when God himself in scripture says “God is not a man that he should lie! That’s from the book of Numbers. BTW
Could “man being worshipped as God” be the Image of the Beast we have given the power to speak and do great things. (movies, tv, cartoons) etc. etc…. But that my friends is a different discussion for a different day.
So, I have listed some questions that we all should seek the Lord and GOD on. And I’ll start by giving you some insight into what I believe to be true. Here is my belief in a nutshell (which many say is a proper vessel for me) snicker snicker…
I believe Jesus is the SON OF GOD, I believe GOD was IN JESUS reconciling the world unto himself. I believe Jesus was the WORD OF GOD (meaning a Man who revealed the WORD/TRUTH). I believe Jesus is the 1st Born among the dead (Meaning Christ rises out of man’s carnality), I believe Jesus is the EXPRESS IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD. I believe Christ is the ONLY WAY, TRUTH, LIFE, and NO ONE comes to the Father (Comes to Know the Truth of God) but by HIM (The SPIRIT OF CHRIST WITHIN). I believe Jesus was AWESOME! I believe Jesus, died, rose again and will accomplish what God sent the WORD in Him to do… But I do NOT believe Jesus was God. I believe Jesus was and is God’s son… A creation of God, through which EVERYTHING IS MADE, both seen and unseen. And I’ll do you one more… I believe as John said, “as Jesus was so are we”
Hey, but that’s just my take, now you have to reconcile what you believe. And let me tell you why this is important. If Jesus is NOT GOD and JUST THE SON OF GOD, than we are worshiping as Paul puts it, the “Creature and Creation” instead of the “Creator”. And vice versa, if Jesus is GOD, than I need to wake up to this truth! So feel free to comment away, as iron sharpens iron… But worse than all this if Jesus is NOT GOD, and we believe Jesus the MAN is, we are placing GOD outside of ourselves, and not INSIDE. For we all exist in Christ (The Spirit which God’s Truth is IN). We then would believe in the things OUTSIDE OF US that are SEEN and TEMPORAL instead of the TRUTH of the INVISIBLE GOD WITHIN that is Eternal.
I’m sorry to say, if we worship Jesus as God, IF he is NOT GOD, then we would be committing BIG TIME IDOLATRY… and vice versa, If Jesus is GOD, and what I believe is a bunch of Hogwash, which could be true (as I am a man, not perfect, and as I have been corrected in the past, I understand I make mistakes) then I have made big boo boo to begin with – So let’s let God teach us, shall we? Let that HOLY SPIRIT bring to remembrance again, what the first ORACLES OF GOD are. (Like that word Oracles, sounds like Spectacles, or another word that starts with a T) … “Oh no, I hope you didn’t!”
IN ANY EVENT LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
Now, I don’t really have the time to list every scripture in regards to the matter. But I have listed a bunch below that if you cannot reconcile wisely with your own beliefs, be they, that Jesus is the SON OF GOD a Man, or Jesus is God, then you have to throw out every single scripture written below and only hang on to the three of four references that HELP YOU to believe what you believe. Many say Jesus is actually 100% God and 100% Man… Even though that would be 200% wouldn’t it?
I pray this at the very least opens a discussion among us all and God lead us to the Truth whatever that may be.
1 Cor 8:6: “Yet for us there is but ONE GOD, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; AND ONE LORD, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.”
IS GOD A MAN? CAN HE BE A MAN
Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”
hath he said, and shall he not do it -Would God say this if it weren’t true?
Psalm 146:3 “Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.”
Matthew 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. (Jesus told many he is the SON OF MAN)
GOD IS ALL KNOWING… IS THE SON?
Psalms 147:5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: HIS UNDERSTANDING IS INFINITE.
So God is all knowing, needs to learn nothing. But Jesus on the other hand…
Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
Jesus’ wisdom increased. Meaning Jesus’ began to understand more and more as he grew in God’s grace. He was in process as all of us. He had to learn to.
Hebrews 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
Jesus, like us, LEARN from what we SUFFER. Through much tribulation we enter the Kingdom. But there is NOTHING FOR GOD TO LEARN, because God IS WISDOM ITSELF.
Jesus also wasn’t in on, the ins and outs of how God brings about the end of the carnal man (apocalypse)
Mark 13:32 and Matt 24:36: “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in Heaven, NEITHER THE SON, but the Father.”
It is pretty Clear, the FATHER (GOD) knows all and does not need to learn. But the SON (JESUS) does NOT know everything, and grows in wisdom and must LEARN.
But let’s move on to this next scripture.
2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that GOD WAS IN CHRIST, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Wouldn’t it be easier just to say, GOD WAS CHRIST, If God was Jesus Christ?… Eh, what do I know?
So we see God is IN JESUS sure… God is IN CHRIST absolutely, and CHRIST IN US is the Hope of Glory, so the story is the same for us, whether we believe or not.
God has not given us the spirit of confusion, so the fact that so many are confused over this subject points to another (The Carnal Mind) who wants to worship MAN AS GOD and not God as God.
Moving on:
GOD IS ALL POWERFUL – IS THE SON?.
Jesus told us clearly he can ONLY do what the Father tells him to do.
John 5:19: Verily, verily I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do…”
If the SON IS GOD how come he can’t do anything except what he sees the FATHER DO?
Like many Christians today, we seek to do GOD’S WILL, not our own. If Jesus was, and is, God, how could he have a will contrary to God?
But watch how the SON (like many of us) wants only to do God’s will, EVEN THOUGH the SON understands he has a WILL of his OWN (outside of God).
John 5:19. … I seek not mine own will but the will of the Father, which has sent me.
Jesus was begging for the FATHER’S WILL, if Jesus was God, he would be the FATHER and have no other WILL but God’s and would have no need to ask for it.
Luke 22:42… Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
This is my prayer all the time as well… LORD NOT MY WILL BUT YOURS… I also, pray God LET THIS CUP PASS (Whatever I am struggling with now) But I am not God. I know God has a Will for me and my life, and I know I have a will that is contrary to God. – Just like Jesus. Think about that for a moment.
CAN GOD HAVE A GOD?
John 20:17: “I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God.”
Matt 27:46: “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”
Matt 26:36: O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless, not as I will but as thou wilt. – (Was Jesus praying to himself?)
Eph 1:3: “Blessed be the God and Father OF our LORD JESUS CHRIST, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: —
Please read that again .. It states VERY CLEARLY
“BLESSED BE THE GOD AND FATHER OF JESUS.
It does not say Blessed be our GOD AND FATHER WHO IS JESUS does it?
No, it doesn’t, we read that like US, Jesus has a GOD and FATHER… It is clearly written.
CAN GOD BE A MAN
Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you.
Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Okay, pretty clear. Jesus the man. God the Spirit. Jesus is a MAN appointed by God. And GOD is NOT A MAN! Nor the SON OF MAN (which Jesus also claimed himself to be)
IS GOD FLESH AND BLOOD? THE SON IS.
John 5:37: “Ye have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His shape.”
No one has heard God’s voice (They heard Jesus’) – No one has seen God’s shape (They saw Jesus)
John 4:24: “God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”
God is not a Man. God is INVISIBLE SPIRIT within us. Not just that, but His kingdom cannot be inherited by flesh and blood.
John 1:18: “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”
No one sees GOD but the SON DECLARES him (Makes God known). Jesus is the WORD OF GOD, and now we IN CHRIST are the very same LIVING EPISTLES that are read of all men.
Many people see and hear us, as they saw and heard Jesus, but NO ONE AT ANY TIME, HAS SEEN GOD. (Can Jesus be God then?)
1 Timothy 6:15,16 God the blessed and ONLY RULER, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, who ALONE IS IMMORTAL and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see”
Paul said God is IMMORTAL, which means God cannot DIE. But the SON did die for us all, didn’t he?
IS ANYONE GREATER THAN GOD? IS GOD GREATER THEN GOD?
John 14:28: “My Father IS GREATER than I.”
Jesus taught clearly that the FATHER is GREATER then he (JESUS) is. It pleased God to allow Jesus to suffer so he would learn obedience. If Jesus is God would he need to learn anything at all? Aaaah, I think Not!
WAS JESUS AS GOOD AS GOD?
Luke 18:19: “Jesus responded: “Why do you call ME good? NONE is good, save one, that is God…”
This man had called Jesus “GOOD MASTER” but Jesus corrected him and said NO ONE IS GOOD BUT GOD. If Jesus was God wouldn’t he have said “That’s right my man I’M GOOOOOOOOOD, I’m so GOOOOD!” But no, Jesus did not say that, he said, Why are you calling ME (Jesus) good, there is NO ONE (MAN) THAT IS GOOD, only GOD!
DOESN’T GOD HAVE POWER TO COME AND GO AS HE PLEASES?
John 8:42: “I (Jesus) proceeded forth and came from God, neither came I of myself but He (God) sent me.
Jesus said I didn’t come of myself (Jesus) … He made it clear GOD SENT HIM, as God had sent moses, elijah and many other prophets.
John 5:30, “I seek not mine own will but the will of the Father which has sent me.”
Once again can God have two separate wills? Nope! And God is the one doing the sending.
WHO ARE WE SUPPOSED TO WORSHIP AND PRAY TO?
Acts 24:14: “I admit that I worship the God of our fathers . . . ”
Paul makes it very clear, I WORSHIP THE GOD OF OUR FATHERS (Who by the way, did not know Jesus as he was not yet born into the world, but was in the Father yet to be sent) The Fathers of Paul, worshipped the ONE TRUE GOD IF ISRAEL, not a Man named Jesus.
Acts 3:13: “The God of our fathers has glorified his SERVANT Jesus”
Here we see, the God of Paul’s Fathers, GLORIFIED, his “servant” Jesus. Jesus is the SERVANT/SON of God. Who God sent and Glorified. Jesus could do nothing of himself.
Paul makes it plain as day in this next passage.
1 Corinthians 8:6: “For us there is but ONE GOD, the Father . . . AND ONE Lord, Jesus Christ”
Shall I repeat this, for us (Paul’s and company) there is but ONE GOD, THE FATHER…. AND (which means in addition to) ONE LORD JESUS.
God cannot be seen or known, the SON who God glorifies makes known the FATHER, AS THE FATHER is IN THE SON, reconciling the world unto himself.
WOULD GOD PRAY TO BE SAVED?
Heb 5:7 “During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the ONE who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.
Jesus clearly prayed to God to save him from Death. Jesus worshipped God… shouldn’t we? Shouldn’t we stop praying and worshipping a man, but know God ourselves.
LUKE 4:8 “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, THOU SHALT WORSHIP THE LORD THY GOD AND HIM ALONE SHALT THOU SERVE.”
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, AND Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
In closing, I want to say I understand that for many this is a difficult study and for others, this is something that is already understood and it is clear as day.
But the great falling away from the Truth has happened, and as hard as it was for me to sit and write this paper today, knowing it would offend so many, I couldn’t sit back and just allow what “Man teaches” to be unchallenged.
We must learn that there is no difference between Jesus and Us.
John 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
This is why Jesus said “I need to leave”. They were putting their faith in ONE MAN, and were not putting their faith in the GOD INSIDE thet One Man. The Man Jesus that he was bearing witness of and revealing God to those God had given him in the world.
There is so much for all of us to learn and God has not given us the spirit of fear, which I have to remind myself of every time I write one of these essays. As I know many of my friends and contemporaries mayl completely disagree and may even take offence.
We must ask ourselves are we WORSHIPPING MAN (by calling Jesus God) and changing the likeness of the incorruptible God into that of a corruptible man.
Scripture says it is IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO BE TEMPTED… Was not JESUS tempted in the wilderness? If Jesus is God, how could he be tempted? And are not we all tempted and drawn away by our lusts?
James 1:13
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
I also know, that no amount of biblical proof will change a heart that is blinded. For the wise of the world will call this foolish, but the foolish things of the world indeed confound the Wise. And it is my prayer that we begin to see the ONE TRUE GOD.
So for those whose hearts are troubled by this essay, I pray you read and find comfort in this last passage of John.
John 14:1 Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; Believe ALSO in me.

WHAT WE’RE REALLY WRESTLING AGAINST
PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS… BRING IT!
Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Oh yeah, we’ve heard that scripture a time, or two, or sixty six… Going to some Churches these days to me seems to me more like going to a science fiction convention than it is going to a place to be healed and set free from all the lies plaguing my mind.
This above scripture has been used to suggest that there are spooky demonic forces OUTSIDE of us, battling for our very souls… Okay, VOMIT!
Hello, does anyone read any of the other articles I post about demons, hell, etc… There is no such thing as some spooky evil spirits flying around OUTSIDE of us trying to possess us.
Jesus said. Mark 7:15 There is nothing from OUTSIDE a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
Okay, so for those that believe there is some spiritual war waging above our heads in the “invisible realm” get over it already! This is nothing more than fairy tales, false beliefs of men and women dead set on scaring people into submission.
And doing a good job I may add… As I child I was horrified there were demons outside my window, trying to possess me.
Now try and catch this “Church” — God does NOT give us the SPIRIT (THOUGHTS) OF FEAR! – These scary demonic angels battling around in the so-called invisible realm around us, waging war over our souls is HOGWASH! … That’s right, get your pig and pour this doctrine on it, because it is HOGWASH nothing more.
The war is WITHIN. Two nations at war (Carnal Man and Spirit Man) – (Flesh and Spirit) (Adam and Christ) (Dead and Life) (Ignorance and Truth)
Now granted, this stuff makes for great movies. With all the scary monsters and screams and stuff, but all of those images are coming from the HEART OF MAN, which is on evil (ignorant stuff) pretty much twenty four seven.
You see, everything INSIDE OF US already possesses us, and the only way out of these LIES in our head, is CHRIST (the TRUTH) – Christ (The TRUTH reveals the Lie for what it is, and destroys the LIE with the BRIGHTNESS (Enlightenment) of its coming (revealing).
I like to use the example of the people of the world once believing the world to be flat. It didn’t matter how many people agreed it was flat, the TRUTH was and is, IT ISN’T… And once the TRUTH reveals this LIE, the LIE is destroyed, and now we know THE EARTH is NOT FLAT but is actually resting on the back of a GIGANTIC TURTLE… GET IT? GOT IT? GOOD! –
So let’s move onto this passage in Ephesians and let me show you what it REALLY MEANS, (or what I pray and hope it means, as you all know I could be completely off my rocker and this is why you MUST take everything to GOD) – But I’ll back up these statements with many biblical witnesses that will make it hard for you to disagree… And if you do, well… That’s your right to be wrong Or right… but I doubt it! < snicker, snicker.
Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Okay, so let’s start at the beginning of Ephesians 6 to get an idea of where Paul was coming from.
He starts by explaining, 1Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. – In other words, he is saying to those new to the Faith, listen to those who are instructing you into the truth. Then he goes on to say many other things very similar to this. Honor mother and father, do good to all men, as if doing it to the Lord and not men. (Good advice)
Ephesians 6:8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. – Another lesson in reaping in sowing, what we give we get… But let’s continue.
Ephesians 6:9And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him. 10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
The whole of this chapter, up till this point is how we are to act toward OTHERS in and out of the faith. Up till this point, there is nothing spooooky about what Paul is teaching here. It is simply a lesson in how to deal with PEOPLE period.
But it is the next line, that every go bananas over! And in some cases I do mean that literally.

Now if we were to take this to mean demonic forces like the movies depict it would be out of place in relation to the rest of this epistle. Let put in laymans terms what Paul is basically saying up to that point.
Pretend for a moment, I am Paul writing this letter.
“Hey everyone, remember to listen to those who are instructing you. Honor those who have Fathered and Mothered you in the faith. And you Fathers of the Faith don’t provoke those you teach, don’t mess with their heads or treat them in poor fashion, otherwise they may grow in the Lord and start despise you and pants you at recess. But nurture them and be gentle with them. Those who serves others, do it as if you are doing it to God, don’t be fake, be real, genuine, show them love and let the light of Christ show in all things you do. Knowing that whatever you sow you will reap, so do Good and you’ll get good. And you bosses, don’t threaten, be kind, knowing God is no respecter of persons and you are no better than the one serving you. So give your employess a big fat raise you cheap chooch! … Finally brothers and sisters, be strong in God who is Love, and in the power of his might, be quick to forgive and encourage. Put on the whole thinking of God, dwell in the complete truth so you won’t fall victim to the lies of the devil, which are the LIES spoken against us, and the lies we may fall victim to if we listen to our carnal mind.”
This letter, that I loosely translated is clear, Paul is instructing people how to act and how not to act.
So what does the next line mean? Does Paul all of a sudden dive off the deep end and start talking about scary monsters and evil spirits… Is he one moment giving good advice and then say, but BEWARE there are EVILLLLLLL SPIRITS CIRCLING YOUR HEAD, they want to EAT YOUR HEART AND BRAINS… So WRESTLE THEM!… OR, is PAUL speaking about the literal RULES OF DARKNESS of his day (The Pharisees and Religious of the land), those who were seeking to have them all killed for the liberty they all found, in the great mystery of CHRIST WITHIN.
Would it not make more sense that Paul is speaking of SOME OF the RELIGIOUS LEADERS, who were LIARS and DECIEVERS of Paul’s day, that his students should be weary off.

Well “Church” that is EXACTLY what this verse means. It has NOTHING to do with monsters that go bump in the night, but it has everything to do with the MONSTERS of the day, who would KILL THE TRUTH OF GOD rather than allow it to be spread.
Don’t believe me? Well let’s just take a look at who these RULERS are?
Luke 24:20
And how the chief priests and our RULERS delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
The RULERS of this DARKNESS (Ignorance/lies/idolatry/false beliefs/tradition) are the RELIGIOUS RULERS of the land. Who scour the earth to make one proselyte twice the SON OF HELL THEY ARE! These RULERS we indeed wrestle against… They don’t like our type.
John 3:19
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved DARKNESS rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Darkness has not LIGHT (TRUTH) – The Darkness is IGNORANCE. And the RULERS of this DARKNESS are those spouting the lies and error from the altar, pulpit, etc, who are convincing the world to worship RELIGION instead of God within.
Now Ephesians 6:12 also mentions “principalities” and yes again mankind has taken a cue from Dante’s inferno and assumed that these also represent DEMONIC GHOULS, MONSTERS as opposed to the badddddd RELIGIOUS MEN AND WOMEN in control, who are out to smother the TRUTH of GOD.
Titus 3:1
Put them in mind to be subject to PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
Principalities and Powers are PEOPLE IN POSITIONS OF AUTHORITY and CONTROL. Religious and/or Political leaders that did not like a gospel going around that promised salvation WITHIN and WITHOUT Religion.
Now these RULER of DARKNESS were of THIS WORLD. They were CARNAL and is it not true, that even today these are who we wrestle with. Maybe not literally wrestling with them, but with what they teach and believe. Don’t we wrestle with the Beliefs, traditions, and lies, bad religion, or those who claim to be the end all be all when it comes to knowing God, spout?
Aren’t some of you reading this right now wrestling to hear (comprehend) some of the new things God is revealing to his Church. And aren’t those who have had these great truths revealed, aren’t some even scared to speak these TRUTHS openly for fear of what might happen. Aren’t MANYworried, what will happen if anyone finds out THAT THEY believe in a GOD THAT IS IN CONTROL, a GOD that WILL HAVE ALL MEN TO BE SAVED?!
Are these not the “principalities AND powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Paul is speaking of?
And let’s take it a bit farther, what are the HIGH PLACES where all this spiritual wickedness is taking place?
Leviticus 26:30
And I will destroy your HIGH PLACES, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.
These HIGH PLACES are the sanctuaries, temples, churches, and altars made to false gods(Beliefs).
1 Kings 3:2
Only the people sacrificed in HIGH PLACES, because there was no house built unto the name of the LORD, until those days.
2 Chronicles 14:3
For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the HIGH PLACES, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves:
Psalm 78:58
For they provoked him to anger with their HIGH PLACES, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.
Starting to put it all together now “church”? Can we throw out the Harry Potter magic nonsense, in the man made churches of the world already, and see these scriptures as they truly are.
These HIGH PLACES are the very places where the RULERS OF DARKNESS (Ignorant religious teachers) say YOU MUST GO TO OR ELSE! – Sound familiar?
I can name a bunch of religions that say if you don’t go to their HIGH PLACE you can’t inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. But we, who have woken, to this great gospel understand that the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN is WITHIN. And the HOPE OF GLORY is CHRIST, who is OUR LIFE.

Okay, so now we know Paul was NOT talking about ghouls and monsters but about Religious, Political, Mean Men and Women, who stand in the way of the GOSPEL being spread.
Luke 21:12
But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and RULERS for my name’s sake.
If you STILL have a problem believing that this verse in Ephesians has nothing to do with monsters, ghosts, ghouls then READ ON, YE OF LITTLE FAITH!
Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
This is Paul’s advice, he is telling them, that when they go out to preach the TRUTH they need to keep the whole truth in their heart and mind. So they will be able to stand with the TRUTH in the face of adversity… He teaches above all, to have PEACE and to make peace with all, even the wicked (ignorant)
But truly it is verse 16 that should give most of you that smack on your head, like you forgot to have your V8 today.
Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And what are the FIERY DARTS of the WICKED? The words, accusations, and proclamations that call what you believe A LIE. This is why we need the SHIELD OF FAITH. Without Faith it is impossible to please God. Without Faith you will never be able to walk in this Truth. Your FAITH makes you whole and keeps you from be ruined, hurt, or even believing that somehow you have made a mistake. Your Faith should always be that GOD IS IN CONTROL, NOT MAN!
This Sonday morning early, this scripture came (revealed) to me. And now I put it to all of you. So you TOO can have liberty from this ancient lie. And the only thing that could keep you from this liberty are the PRINCIPALITIES, POWERS, AND RULES OF DARKNESS OF THE WORLD. (Who are simply ignorant men and women who want to be in control, instead of admitting God is ALL IN ALL) – But don’t take this LIBERTY lightly, even though it has…
Colossians 2:14 Blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15And having spoiled PRINCIPALITIES and POWERS, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

17 LET NO MAN therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days.
I pray one day we will no longer need to wrestle against these vain beliefs, traditions, and errors of the day. But that we will walk in newness of life, knowing that WE AND CHRIST are ONE! In the meantime, spread the GOOD WORD.

Note to reader: You HAVE to read this, there is something in this paper that will blow your mind away. So don’t give up, stick with it, I promise you will be amazed at what God reveals to you.
LAND OF MILK AND HONEY
It is the land of promise, the Land Flowing with Milk and Honey. Mmmmnnn sounds yummy doesn’t it?
Now if this were to be literal, I would prefer a land flowing with cookie dough ice cream, hot fudge, peanut butter and jelly waffles and a tall glass of cold skim milk… But by now, I’m sure you’re aware, this “Land Flowing With Milk and Honey” is an allegory.
Some will say, the “Milk and Honey”, represents abundance. Well… THEY ARE WRONG! HA HA! Take that you, wrong believing person you!
Look, the problem is, these people consider this abundance to be “temporal abundance” like food, clothing, riches, a roof over their heads. Now trust me, God knows what we need physically, and God provides, unless we somehow are reaping what we have sown and for the time being need to learn a lesson or two.
But God always cares for us, and believe me, God is in control of ALL THINGS. And ALL things work together for our good. But let’s get back to the Promise Land.
Exodus 3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
This was the promise God gave to his people Israel when they were in the bondage of Pharaoh and the Egyptians. If you read my article on “The Plagues of Egypt” you would understand the allegory of Egypt, Pharaoh, and the Plagues. But for those who haven’t read it, I will simply translate what the word Pharaoh means, “Their Nakedness/shame.”
You see, Israel, LIKE US, were/are slaves to their Nakedness, to their flesh, to their shame and carnal nature. They were in the chains of ignorance, as are many in the world today. And yes, I am in some of those chains myself. For I know in part for now. You see, it is our shame, created by our DEATH (Carnal ignorance) that becomes our taskmaster. We condemn ourselves, we hate ourselves, some even kill themselves. It is because PHAROAH (their nakedness/shame/ignorance and fear) is ruling the roost.
Ezekiel 36:31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
This is what we need to be saved from “Church”. We do NOT need to be saved from some infinite torture down the road. Which of course, is a bunch of nonsense created by Meat-heads who were out to make a buck at the expense of the ignorant peasants around them. Unfortunately, many still believe in this “controlling fear tactic” today. And we wonder why there is so much hate and pain in the world?
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge.
Now I’m going for SHOCK FACTOR right now, so buckle up!
Most who believe that they are SAVED right now. They believe this because they said a few words, did an altar call, got dunked in some water and started to work for their Religious Temples, Churches, etc… Well guess what, THEY AREN’T SAVED! They are so far from being saved it is ridiculous.
Ridiculous, because it is their very belief that they are SAVED by their man made rules, traditions, and hogwash that they don’t SEEK AND FIND the PROMISE OF GOD, which is TRUE SALVATION.
They ask Christ INTO their heart. As if Christ exists outside of them. Never once realizing the Hope of Glory which is CHRIST WITHIN!
Not only that but most do not even know what it they are saved from. Because religion has poured so much pride, fear, and guilt into them. Mainly Religion uses FEAR, not only of FUTURE DAMNATION, but of excommunication, expulsion, etc… many churches, temples, mosques will kick you out if you don’t get in line and do as the Religious Leaders say.
The Religious, Atheist, and Carnal don’t realize they are already condemned to begin with. That is the irony. It is their false salvation belief that is keeping them in the chains of HELL. Not the Hell they are so scared of. You see, Hell is NOT a place where a GOD OF LOVE sends people to be tortured endlessly, HELL is where those “Who don’t believe and know God” exist in right now. Even those, who don’t miss one church service and pray every night can be DAMNED, if the know not the truth (Christ in them).
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
And we are all guilty of this. No man is born without SIN. Our physical parents brought us DEATH, our SPIRITUAL parents God and Christ/Wisdom, gives us LIFE!
1 Corinthians 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
This is the good news. Especially for those hearing the WORD OF TRUTH in this day. And I don’t mean WEDSNDAY, I mean the DAY OF THE LORD.
And yes “The Day of the Lord” is a scary one. But NOT the way many have taught it. The Jews believed their Messiah would come and give them a great kingdom and then utterly destroy and torture their enemies… They rejected Jesus, because he came and said, “Love your Enemies, Forgive them, Pray for them” – Now here is wisdom, the Jews were wrong for thinking that the Messiah would come and DESTROY THEIR ENEMIES… Well don’t most Christians believe this is how the Messiah will come again? Some preachers go so far as to say Jesus is a blood thirsty murderer, that the blood of the “Christians” enemies will reach the Horses Neck (of course this too is allegory) but don’t tell the Carnal Religious this. They want their God to murder and torture their enemies, because their heart is filled with such. They are not saved!
Now look the DAY OF THE LORD, is not some future event where the moon literally turns to blood, stars literally fall from the sky, etc. etc…
Now before I get into this next part, I want to give my usual disclaimer, I am simply a man who wants to know the Truth of God. I am not a Pastor, Prophet, Rabbi, Evangelist, Priest, etc. who will say, “what I am teaching is word!” I believe all of these words to be true but you must always seek God and Christ Within if anything I write troubles you. Especially this next part.
Read Acts 2, you will see Peter says…
Acts 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh…. 19And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:
We see here CLEARLY, that the SUN and MOON are allegories. Peter is explaining to the crowds that when the HOLY SPIRIT came upon those men and women in the Upper Room, (When God’s truth was understood and revealed)… Peter said, it was the day Joel spoke of, that SCARRRRRRY DAY of the LORD, he explained, had just happened.
But what REALLY happened? Is it allegorical? You bet your sweet asparagus it’s allegorical.
So let’s look at that Parable for a moment shall we?
Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
They all came together in the UPPER ROOM (Higher consciousness). They were seeking MORE. And the TRUTH came (revealed) to them. The TRUTH was REVEALED as a RUSHING MIGHTY WIND…
And no! It wasn’t A LITERAL WIND. “Church” Wind is an allegory for DOCTRINE, TEACHING, INSTRUCTION.
Ephesians 4:14 : That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine,
They were being TAUGHT by GOD, and then they were given CLOVEN (Separated) tongues.
Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Now unless your into sci-fiction, I hope you DON’T believe their tongues were literally split down the middle and caught on fire. I’ll write it again, This is ALLEGORY “CHURCH”!
A separated (cloven) tongue is a LANGUAGE and UNDERSTANDING that is separate from the WORLD (Carnal understanding). And these words of TRUTH that they know spoke PURIFY (FIRE) those they speak to.
And NO! They didn’t begin speaking different languages so those in foreign countries could understand them, THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS A MYSTERY, Jesus ONLY spoke in Parable, it is the SPIRIT that reveals the TRUTH… They were NOT speaking foreign languages at the same time, they began speaking their NATIVE TONGUE (which is TRUTH)
First of all, if everyone was speaking at the same time in literal different languages, no one would understand anything. That really is beside the point. However, there is a great treasure hidden away, in the meaning of these “places” that heard their “native tongue” – Which again is GOD’S WORD (TRUTH).
So when you hear those stories of people all of sudden speaking perfect German or Hebrew, etc. etc… it may not be true.
God opens the minds and hearts of those in every city in every country, so there will always be someone to speak the TRUTH, in a literal native tongue, so there is no need to give someone the “magic” power of speaking a language they don’t know.
But I also want to point out something about Tongues. As I used to “speak in tongues” as well back in the day, when I was taught that was “evidence” of the Holy Spirit. Even though, now I know, evidence of the HOLY SPIRIT is the rembrance of TRUTH (God’s word) and it doesn’t say anywhere that it is speaking what appears to be jibberish. Putting that aside, let’s remember what “Tongues” are for…
1 Corinthians 14:22
Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not
Tongues are a SIGN. And we learned in my Jonah article, there is NO SIGN given, but Jonah’s. (which is coming out of our carnal thinking and knowing the TRUTH/CHRIST) – This is the SIGN to unbelievers, SPEAKING THE TRUTH.
Now here is the problem, many won’t be able to understand the TRUTH, unless it is broken down for them (interpreted) that is why if you speak the wonderful WORKS of God, you must interpret it for those who are hearing it. Otherwise it will make no sense to them.
The last thing I want to put out about Tongues, is they are ONLY mentioned in 1 corinthians, nowhere else in scripture (that I’m aware of) was this talk about speaking a litreral language you don’t know. Now, I do know that “Tongues” will cease, so perhaps this understand of literally speaking in other languages has ceased for me, and I no longer believe it to be what I used to believe it to be, however. I believe the NATIVE TONGUE that each man heard, was the WORD OF GOD.
But let’s look DEEPER at how God gives us our NATIVE TONGUE (The WORDS OF THE KINGDOM). By looking at the meaning of each of those places that HEARD the wonderful works of God.
Acts 2:9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11Cretes and Arabians,
This is going to blow your mind! Here are the STRONGS definitions of these words.
Parthia = “a pledge”, Mede or Media = “middle land”, Elam = “eternity”, Mesopotamia = “between two rivers”, Judaea = “he shall be praised”, Cappadocia = “province of good horses”, Pontus = “the sea”, Phrygia = “dry, barren”, Phrygia = “dry, barren”, Egypt = “double straits”, Libya = “afflicted or weeping”, Cyrene = “supremacy of the bridle”, Rome = “strength”, Judah = “he shall be praised”, proselytes = “a newcomer”, Crete = “fleshy”, Arabia = “desert or barren”
Those are the meanings of those that HEARD THEIR NATIVE TONGUE (truth) Now let me put this all together for you and it will give you chills. Mind you I am doing this in the exact order as it is written. You will see this is another hidden treasure showing us God will bring us into the Land of Promise.
“A Pledge (Promise) was made in the middle land of eternity between two rivers (Truth and lies). In the Province of Good Horses (Saints) God shall be praised. In the Seas (carnal mankind), in the dry and barren, in the double straights, those that are afflicted and weeping shall know the supremacy of God’s bridle and Strength. GOD shall be praised by the newcomers to the faith, by the fleshy and the barren.”
Now, I dare you to tell me that is NOT a wonderful coincidence. Then I dare you to tell me that there actually is such a thing as COINCIDENCE!
So now, what was that PLEDGE, or PROMISE, that God made to those dwelling in between heaven and earth, between lies and truth?
The PROMISE is the PROMISE LAND! A Land Flowing with spaghetti and meatballs! I mean, Milk and Honey!
Before I close, showing you exactly what the MILK AND HONEY represent and are. Which has NOTHING to do with temporal abundance, but spiritual abundance… I want to point out that when the TRUTH OF CHRIST hits you, it knocks your socks off, and it gives you a new mind, new words (tongue), and praise God a NEW LIFE!
Now it is a MIGHTY WIND (TRUTH/TEACHING) and many will run from it and want nothing to do with it. Most carnal men and women don’t want to give up hating, debating, worrying, tearing down, and most importantly, they don’t want to give up CONTROL! They don’t want to KNOW THE SUPREMACY OF GOD’S BRIDLE. They don’t want God to be in control, they want to be god themselves. That is what is happening today is Religion everywhere. Man is teaching Man how to be a god themselves (Read my article on the Tower of Babel for more clarity on this)
Carnal man does not want to believe in a God of Love and forgiveness. Because if they do, that means, they must LOVE AND FORGIVE.
No, carnal man wants to believe in a God that condemns and punishes those that do not agree with Him. Why? You ask… So then THEY TOO can condemn and punish those that don’t agree with them!
Nevertheless, when the TRUTH HITS YOU, it changes everything. Look at what happened to Paul, he was STRIKEN BLIND. When the TRUTH comes (is revealed to us), we realize we know NOTHING ABOUT GOD – get it? We understand how BLIND we really are.
However, most today, do not understand that THEY are the ones that are LOST AND DAMNED (which isn’t what the literalists of the world think that means).
These Lost “Dead Men and Women walking” will actually condemn those with the TRUTH as Paul did, before his conversion. They would rather say, GOD WILL NOT SAVE ALL MAN then take a moment to say, “Lord if this be true please show me?” Most believe God’s arm is slack that is cannot save, even the most lost and ugly. They will say on one hand God finishes his creation in Victory, and then say only a small percent of God’s creation will know Him.
Meanwhile, in the land of HEAVEN and TRUTH, we know “Every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess Christ (God’s Truth and Spirit) as Lord TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER!
And what GLORIFIES GOD people? Read on.
Luke 18:43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
So for those who say, God is glorified when the Ignorant of the world are sent off to an eternity of torture, the bible says, GOD is GLORIFIED when those that did not SEE (know Him) received their sight (understanding/wisdom) – This is how God is glorified, when the BLIND (Ignorant) SEE (Have the revelation of CHRIST IN THEM)
That is the GOOD NEWS, that GOD will deliver ALL from the Bondage of PHAROAH and the EGYPTIANS… God will deliver us ALL and SAVE us ALL from the Hell of our IGNORANCE, PRIDE, and Carnal EGO.
And there is but ONE way to that Salvation and that is CHRIST, which is the TRUTH of God. WHICH IS IN YOU! Not coming in the CLOUDS outside of you.
The CLOUDS are the WITNESSES of TRUTH.
Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of WITNESSES.
This is how Christ comes (Revealed) – The TRUTH sets us FREE from WITHIN.
In the Gospel of Thomas there is a great line that Jesus says, “If you bring forth that which is within you it will save you. If you do not bring forth that which is within you it will destroy you!”
But Salvation is more then just believing IN CHRIST, to be saved you MUST BE IN CHRIST, and CHRIST IN YOU!
Ponder those last words. For, if you are in something, and something is in you, who are you?
When you find this out… THEN YOU ARE SAVED!
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Pay attention to that last line. THE TRUTH SETS US FREE. Not a believing in a literal man, but believing in the WORD OF GOD that is revealed in a literal Man. You will not be saved by religion, tradition, tithing, or anything man made or created by man.
Okay, so after writing six pages this morning I will finally get to the point of this essay. Call me “Captain Segway”!
Salvation is of and from God, it is by HIS GRACE and our Faith in Christ that we are SAVED… And to get there, we have to inherit the promise land.
Exodus 3:8
And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey
So what is this land that God delivers us for and brings us to? Is it a literal place? Is it a good job, new car, nice home? Or is it something better even than that? To understand this further we must look at what scripture tells us the LAND, MILK, and HONEY actually is.
Let’s first look at Honey:
1 Samuel 14:27
But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.
(The taste of this honey, gave Jonathan revelation… but revelation of what?)
1 Samuel 14:43
Then Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what thou hast done. And Jonathan told him, and said, I did but taste a little honey with the end of the rod that was in mine hand, and, lo, I must die.
(It is the Revelation that he must DIE. We must DIE to our CARNAL EGO)
PROVERBS 24: 13 My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: 14So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
It should be pretty clear, that “Honey” is the Knowledge of Gods Wisdom.
Isaiah 7:15
Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
Eating (assimilating = Becoming one with) this “Honey” (God’s wisdom) helps us to know how to refuse EVIL (lies) and Choose Good which is Truth.
AND NOW FOR THE MILK!
Isaiah 28:9
Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
You see to get to the “Honey” (Understanding we must die to ourselves and become one with God’s truth) we must be weaned from MILK. So, it stands to reason, “MILK” is something we start off with before coming to complete HONEY (Enlightenment)
1 Corinthians 3 1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
You see here, MILK is fundamental teaching, so rudimentary that the carnal can glean from it. (Look at all those big words I just used LOL)
MILK is the rudiments of understanding. Milk is for BABES in Christ. Newcomers to the Faith.
1 Peter 2:2
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
So Israel wasn’t entering a LITERAL LAND of ABUNDANCE at all. This PROMISE LAND is our PROMISE LAND as well. And God will bring us into it.
The LAND FLOWING WITH MILK AND HONEY. God will teach us as babes, lead us into maturity, and gives us the greatest of all gifts, the ENLIGHTENMENT of CHRIST!

“TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT”

TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT
The Master left his mansion angrier than a hornet shook from it’s hive.
His Servant smiled as he waved his Master Goodbye.
“I have, and you have not,” the Master screamed to the servant tending his yard. “Why are you always smiling, when I know your life must be very hard?”
The servant turned pretending not to hear the words he said.
The Master got angrier and forced him to listen instead.
“I have a home, one hundred times the size of your shack.
I have cars, wealth, fashionable clothes and I give you just enough to keep you coming back.”
The servant tried to hide the pitiful look in his eyes.
However, the Master saw this and it fueled his anger inside.
“I have the best physicians in the world, I have the most wonderful food to eat and I belong to many important clubs.
You don’t have insurance, your food is scrap and you look at me as if I’m corrupt?”
The servant raised his gaze from the ground below.
As the Master continued to speak, the servants smile began to grow, not from pride, for humiloty and peace is all this servant wanted to know.
“I am a man of importance, one who travels and hunts.
I vacation where my heart desires and I do whatever I want.
But you, you are just the help, no one respects you and never will.
You’re the one who cleans the dishes, not the one who pays the bill.
Your back is breaking, while mine is being rubbed.
Your hands are blistering, while mine are washed up.
What is so good about your life that I never see you cry,
Why is it you always smile, when I believe you should want to die?”
The servant rolled his shoulders back as if he was going to speak.
He laid his rake to the ground and took off the boots from his feet.
“You may have a mansion, but I have a warm home.
You may have wealth, clothes and status, but I have a peace you will never know.
While you are fighting to have more, I have all I will ever need.
You see, I want nothing, but your belly hurts from the flames of your greed.
You say this is your grass, but I am the one that helps it grow.
You call this your land, but there are parts of it you don’t even know.
I stock the fish for your pond, but you never watch one swim around.
I plant your flowers and you never smell them or pick them from the ground.
You’re always worrying you will lose what you have, but I can never lose the truth I have found.
You tear down, I build up.
You are ungrateful and want more, but I know the fullness of my cup.
You measure yourself against others, but I love who I am.
You can’t see past your wallet, but I see a magnificent plan.
So, you want to know why it is a smile and I’m always so nice?
It’s because I have found more than you have in this short wonderful life.
When I look back I see those things I have nourished and helped to grow.
I see those I have served and all those I have been blessed to know.
What is it you see Master, when your life stares you in the face?
Is it those you’ve abused and taken advantage of? It must be a darker place.
You’ve taken without asking and never given, even to a few.
And now you want to know why it is I smile when you never do?
It is because I have something you don’t and that much is very true.
And no matter what you think you have, until you change, this servant will always be greater than you.”
“How dare you, I could fire you for the words you say. I did not come here to be lectured by laborer whose hands are covered in clay. I’m in control, I am the ruler of this place. I am the one who provides for you, how dare you say I’m the disgrace?”
The servant placed a comforting hand on the shoulder of this self important man. The Master was shocked but did not take his hand away. There was something comforting about the way he touched him that day. Tears began to well in the Master’s eyes and the servant began to say.
“I know you hurting, this is why you treat me and others so. But there is more to this life than what you know. We each have a part to play, and trust me Sir there is a greater plot. And to store up treasure in this world, it most surely is not. We must learn from our mistakes and that we will reap everything that we sow. What we do to one, we do to ourselves this you need to know. The reason you are hurting is because your self serving. But all of this can change if your life you rearrange by putting others above yourself. If you do this you will find peace, joy and purpose in your lot. Then you will have as I have, but right now Master you absolutely have not.”

WHAT IS THE GLORY OF GOD?
There are many mysteries in scripture, but truly, the greatest of all mysteries, is the Mystery of who we are, and who God is.
So what do you say Nancy Drew, shall we proceed and see if yet another mystery reveals itself before our eyes?
Let’s have a little fun first. Let me set the stage if you will. And no, this is not from my book, just something to demonstrate what is going on in many religious buildings today.
CHAPTER ONE
The Great Mistake
“GLORY TO GOD!” The preacher shouts.
My question… “Does he, or any other religious leader, have ANY IDEA, at all, what that means?”
My answer… “NOPE!”
Picture the service, the music swells, the lights dim… The religious leader takes microphone in hand. After 30 minutes of inspiring music, song, singing and dance, the “atmosphere for worship” is ready. In other words the audience is ripe for picking. The stage has been set, as they say. Everyone is FEELING good. The question remains, are they FEELING GOD?
The Big name Religious leader parades to the altar. His words are powerful and sharp. A great showman for sure. The smoke machines (hidden out of sight) release their contents over the emotional crowd.
“I feel the presence of God,” he says with a smile. (As if God just showed up. As if we don’t ALL have our existence in HIM, through HIM, by HIM, for HIM)
“Ohhhhhh, The Glory. Do you feel it Church? The GLORY OF GOD is here! Do you feel it?… It’s thick in the air.” The religious leader screams, wiping spit away from the corners of his mouth as he speaks. He is salivating over the offering and altar call to come. “This crowd is a keeper” he thinks.
The overwhelmed emotional church shouts, “Praise God” and they notice the smoke descending from the smoke machine above as if it is the Holy Spirit itself.
And then….
CHAPTER TWO
THEY WOKE UP
Because the GLORY OF GOD is WITHIN and not WITHOUT. And when the GLORY OF GOD fills the temple (when the TRUTH fills our being) the “wicked” (ignorant) generation will be released from the jaws of these scorpions whose sting is in their TALES!
Revelation 9:10
And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men
Oh, please “Church” don’t tell me you believe there will be some scorpion monster climbing out of some bottomless pit sent to TORMENT MEN.
A bottomless pit, has no foundation – The only foundation is CHRIST. So whatever crawls out of this pit is not rooted in the TRUTH of God.
John used symbolism of a scorpion here to picture Religious knuckleheads like the one I pictured above, keeping their blind flock in shackles (unequally yolked)
Did you notice the word TAIL! In the TAIL is the STING (The STING OF DEATH is SIN), THE LIES are the POISON released into the prey of these scorpions and it kills (make carnal and ignorant).
What an allegory this is for the LIES OF RELIGIOUS MEN AND WOMEN, the STING OF DEATH is the SIN (error) they teach and help others to continue to walk in. Their TAIL is actually the TALES (Lies, false stories) they TELL about God. And many do this for profit. They look at the size and bank account of their church as evidence that God is blessing them, forgetting that HELL GETS LARGER BY THE MINUTE and that FEW ENTER IN SUCH REST in this age.
Before we get into this GLORY of GOD study, let me first point out what the TAIL of the scorpion that stings really is, and where it really comes from, so you can stop telling your kids about some spooky monsters that God is going to unleash on the Earth to torment us. It is Man’s Religion which has done more torment to mankind then anything else. The SCORPIONS of the world are FALSE PROFITS (Spelling mistake on purpose)
Isaiah 9:15
The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.
Notice the PROPHET that teaches LIES is the TAIL… The LIES or TALES, is the STING. The False Prophet is what the scorpion represents. Now, watch out for these little buggers. Shake out your shoes when you know they are near, because THEY LOVE TO GET INTO YOUR WALK and STING YOU WHERE YOU STEP and STAND!
But let’s get into the REAL MEANING of the GLORY OF GOD, already… I mean really Jacob, can you stick on one topic and write one article that doesn’t take up seven to ten pages….
AHHHH NOPE!
Colossians 1:26
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
This mystery has been hid from the eyes (understanding) of many, for many, many, years. But, NOW is being revealed to those CHOSEN firststripe or remnant, or whatever you want to call those who have begun to understand. And if they are anything like me, their life has been a hard one. A humbling existence for sure. For the PROUD GOD RESISTS, but the humble he embraces.
The question is, how do we present some of the things we have begun to realize as true without worrying about consequences? Or having family members and friends calling you crazy or cult leaders or a bunch of other knuckle head comments that hurt your heart and make you want to go to the gym and hit the heavy bag an extra hour or two … Or is that just me?
Well the answer is when it is TIME, it is TIME, and you will simply share what you believe God has given you to share and today it is about showing all of you WHAT THE GLORY OF GOD IS.
It really is simple… So I will put it simply…. “It is the Glory of God to conceal a thing” (Prov 25)

See you next time folks! LOL… Of course I will go into more detail. But really that is all we need to know. The GLORY OF GOD is the HIDDEN truth within us (Christ) – The hidden REVELATION of who we are. But don’t take my word for it, I’m a meathead like everyone else. I know in part that’s all.

This article is about the GLORY OF GOD. And no, the GLORY does not present itself as something thick or oily in the air. It doesn’t look like smoke or fog, and NO you can’t FEEL the glory of God. Because the GLORY OF GOD is a MYSTERY that is to be understood.
The GLORY OF GOD is the REVEALING of his GOD’S CONCEALED TRUTH in US.
It is the Glory of God to conceal a thing after all. (Prov 25)
2 Corinthians 4:7
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
Here is QUICK revelation for ya! If the GLORY OF GOD is to hide something, cover something, conceal something… And Christ is the TRUTH/WISDOM which COMES in the GLORY OF GOD. —- It stands to reason = The TRUTH reveals the MYSTERY of ITSELF (Christ comes in the Glory of God).
You see, the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN is Hidden from man’s carnal understanding. Once we started eating from that TREE in the Middle of our Garden called the Nervous system, once we started putting faith in ourselves and senses, and everything outside of us, the TRUTH of who we ARE was hidden from our sight (understanding).
The good news is we will all wake up from our carnal stupidity.
1 Corinthians 15:51
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.
And no, this has nothing to do with being poofed away in some hundred year old teaching created by some ignorant, indecisive Jesuit priests called the Rapture, Preterism, or Futurism… It has everything to do with being changed from the LIKENESS OF A CORRUPTIBLE MAN, into the IMAGE OF GOD.
1 Corinthians 15:42
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
In ADAM (Carnal mindset) we all die – In Christ (Enlightened understanding) we live. The incorruptible takes the place of the corruptible (sinful, ignorant)
And I know what you’re saying, JACOB that is talking about when we literally physically RISE from our literal death…. Well, I don’t personally believe that at all. I know the Flesh profits nothing, but hey, each to his own.
Don’t fault me for believing the RESURRECTION from “the dead” (plural form) takes place WITHIN US. That CHRIST rises out of our IGNORANCE and REBELLION. And I won’t fault you for being tricked into waiting for some Savior that has yet to come.
BTW, it’s no coincidence, the name MARY in Greek, means REBELLION. You see, Salvation is birthed out of our IGNORANCE AND DEATH (CARNALITY)
Romans 6:5
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
NOW THAT IS THE GOOD NEWS! The Gospel if you will. We shall all be RISEN with Christ and come to the stature of the perfect man. ALL WILL BE SAVED – ALL WILL WAKE UP!
But I digress, this above scripture has nothing to do with physically rising from the physical ground, as Jesus said…
John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
YOU SEE? If you believe the TRUTH, even though you were DEAD (IGNORANT IN ADAM) you shall live (become ENLIGHTENED)
People, if this had anything to do with literal death, COULD YOU BELIEVE if you were six feet under? HELLO? Is this thing on?
Seriously, lets’ put on our big brain for a moment, DEATH IS AN ALLEGORY!
And the RESURRECTION from this DEATH comes in the GLORY OF GOD! (understanding the mystery of who we are)
Now, to understand this we have to first understand that the carnal man cannot understand spiritual things. The TRUTH of God MUST be revealed to the INNER MAN.
(Like Lightning from heaven = Enlightening from Christ within)
Psalm 78:2
I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
Many Religious preachers have gone on and on about the “Glory” and how it filled their man made temples, churches, etc… But the GLORY OF GOD is the MYSTERY – It is the PARABLE, the ALLEGORY. Which cannot be interpreted my MANKIND, but can ONLY be revealed by GOD’S SPIRIT of TRUTH (Holy spirit – Highest TRUTH/THOUGHT OF GOD)
2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
This above passage makes it so clear. Light (Truth) Darkness (Ignorance/lies) – God commands the TRUTH to be revealed in MANKIND. He gives the REVELATION of The KNOWLEDGE of the MYSTERY OF THE KINGDOM (glory of God) when we come to the full revelation of CHRIST IN US. = That we are ONE, God’s son.
After all God only has ONE CHILD (ISRAEL)
Hosea 11:1
When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
ADAM (MANKIND IGNORANT) – CHRIST (MANKIND ONE WITH GOD AND ENLIGHTENED)
God calls US out of our IGNORANCE (EGYPT)
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
We have all been ignorant of the TRUTH. We have all missed the MARK and have NOT grasped the full revelation of who we are in Christ.
However, this was part of the plan. A seed must die to produce many others when it resurrects back to life to produce many more seeds.
John 11:4
When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
Like the Blind Man outside the Temple, and like Lazarus, these are allegories of us… And it is this SICKNESS of IGNORANCE that has come upon all men. – Lazarus in Greek means “Whom God Helps”
And God is MANKINDS HELPER
Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
God helps us all… Lazarus another great parable of mankind being risen from their carnal state, and coming out of their TOMBS. (CARNAL NATURE) And it is so the GLORY OF GOD (Mystery of the Kingdom of God – Which IS Christ in YOU) might be glorified.
In other words, we are BLIND (IGNORANT) to the TRUTH of God but when we UNDERSTAND (SEE) The TRUTH is revealed and God (the TRUTH/SPIRIT OF LIFE) is revealed to all through us (as SONS AND DAUGHTERS of God)
John 11:40
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
If we BELIEVE the TRUTH we will understand the mystery of CHRIST IN US which is the Mystery of who WE ARE. When we understand we are GOD’S CHILD that DIED (became Ignorant and was Crucified with Christ) and when the HEAVENS (HIGHER UNDERSTANDING) open up to us and we Hear (Comprehend) that we are GOD’S ONLY BEGOTTEN CHILD IN CHRIST, then we SEE (UNDERSTAND THE MYSTERY) – And God is glorified.
So let’s talk salvation shall we? Many today, preach that Salvation is to keep us from a horrible endless torturous fate in the future… But, hopefully by now this MYSTERY has been revealed, this snare has been avoided.
Hopefully you know that INFINITE TORTURE AND FIRE is a bunch of fear tactics and lies, hogwash, created by bonehead greedy religious men who wanted to keep us in the chains of ignorance and fear.
They talk about all that scary “FIRE” as if FIRE is a bad thing. They leave out the fact that CHRIST baptizes with FIRE, that GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE!
1 Corinthians 3:15
If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Our WORKS and IGNORANT BELIEFS are what is BURNED (CLEANSED) so we can be SAVED. Fire is GOOD not bad people! It is an allegory of how God’s consuming spirit purges us from our wicked (ignorant) thoughts.
God holds us under the hottest part of the flame until we be pure. God gathers the TARES (LIES) and burns them away, so only the WHEAT (TRUTH) remains.
But let’s put that Eternal Torture nonsense aside for a moment to discuss what SALVATION really is.
First, we understand and hopefully agree that the ONLY WAY TO SALAVATION is believing on the NAME OF CHRIST and being BAPTISED into it… BUT let’s not be like the LITERALISTS of this world as we know the LETTER KILLS. Let’s understand what SALVATION REALLY MEANS.
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Notice this NAME, which translates into NATURE (love, compassion, understanding, attitude, characteristics, etc) … this NAME is GIVEN among (within) men, it is this NAME (NATURE) that we must fully embrace to be saved!
So is it a literal name, like Harry, or Judith, or Jesus… or is it more than that?
You’ll find out we are not SAVED from some terrible endless fate by believing in some literal person or some literal name.
WE ARE ALREADY UNDER THS CURSE IF WE DON’T BELIEVE the TRUTH. We are already in the HELL of our ignorance and carnality if we don’t believe on the NAME (WHICH IS THE NATURE) OF CHRIST.
Even atheists believe in the literal name of Jesus. That doesn’t equal salvation.
You want to know what TRUE CONDEMNATION is… It is UNBELIEF. That’s all.
John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
We are SAVED FROM OURSELVES (IGNORANCE) by believing who we REALLY ARE IN CHRIST (God’s child and Image)
Let explain this NAME thing a bit more. Because it is NOT A LITERAL NAME that saves us.
Religious people will lead you to believe you go up and accept some carnal teaching about some literal man from thousands of years ago, and then if you say his name Jesus (which wasn’t even his literal name) that you are saved. Yet, your life continues on in darkness and you still suffer, and become RELIGIOUS and CONDEMNING if you have the wrong leaders… I MEAN, how silly is this belief. As if God has our “literal names” written in some literal book, he is checking twice to see if we are naughty or nice, HA!
Think about it, what happens, when more than one Jacob Israel shows us at those so called “Literal” pearly gates? If it be a literal name, how would we know who inherits the kingdom of not? WE WOULDN’T, BECAUSE IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH A MAGIC NAME OR LITERAL WORD!
NO! You are not confessing a LITERAL name and BELIEVING a literal NAME. The word “NAME” translates into NATURE. You have to BELIEVE the TRUTH of who you are in Christ, and CONFESS THIS, and believe in this NATURE as it is your OWN.
You see it is not a LITERAL NAME but what that LITERAL NAME inspires about the NATURE of that person.
Let me explain it like this, when you know someone named BOB, there are probably a million other BOB’S out there in the world. But this particular BOB is set apart from the rest because of his attributes, attitude, nature… So it is not the LITERAL NAME BOB that you think of when you hear about your friend BOB, but it is what MAKES BOB, BOB. That is what you think of to understand who BOB really is. It is BOB’S NATURE that we concern ourselves with.
John 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
The Instant you ENTER into the REVELATION of WHO YOU ARE you BECOME the SHEPHERD (CHRIST).
Meaning you realize YOU ARE CHRIST, (mind of Christ, body of Christ, NAME of Christ) – Then you become the Shepherd of the Sheep.
But to do this you MUST BELIEVE on the NAME (YOUR TRUE NATURE) AND CONFESS IT.
And it is ONLY THE NATURE of Christ that is written in the BOOK OF LIFE. So, any NATURE outside of CHRIST will be burned (purified from us) away. That is what that scripture means.
So let’s put the cartoon of God with the white beard standing at a literal gate with a check list away, please!
Revelation 17:8
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Notice the Beast (OUR CARNAL EGO) was (past tense) and IS NOT (doesn’t really exist) = Who we thought/think we are is not the TRUTH of who we are. CHRIST is the TRUTH. So, the FALSE IDENTITY will end up being destroyed.
Whose FALSE NAMES = FALSE NATURES (greed, lust, pride, hate, etc, etc) were not written (expressed/remembered) in the book of Life (God). These aren’t literal NAMES people. GET ME?
LET’S LOOK at the definition of the word “NAME” original word “oànoma” – “The name is used for everything which the name covers, everything the thought or feeling of which is aroused in the mind by mentioning, hearing, remembering, the name, i.e. for one’s rank, authority, interests, pleasure, command, excellences, deeds etc”
So, also, salvation has nothing to do with just saying a couple of words getting dunked in a big tub of water and then your “alllllll good” – My goodness that couldn’t be farther from the truth.
1 John 3:23
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
And yes, I believe we need to CONFESS the NAME CHRIST and believe on that NAME to be saved = But let me tell you what that meanS to me…. “I must know who I am in Christ and believe who I am in Christ to be saved from who I used to think myself to be.”
So we are saved NOT by any LITERAL CONFESSION of any LITERAL NAME, but we are saved by our FAITH in what is HIDDEN INSIDE OF US. The Treasure that is revealed when CHRIST RISES FROM THE DEAD (Our ignorant soul)
Matthew 13:44
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
When we find the TRUTH OF WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST, we get rid of everything that is not CHRIST. – This is what that passage in revelation really means.
EVERY NAME(Nature) not found in that BOOK OF LIFE or TREASURE is purged from us. To maintain the greatest treasure of all, CHRIST our TRUE LIFE.
2 Corinthians 4:7
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
So what saves us is our UNDERSTANDING and FAITH in who we are! A CHILD OF GOD!
Luke 18:42
And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
It was the person’s FAITH that saved them when they received the “Understanding of who they were”
Okay so I said the article was about the GLORY OF GOD… So let’s finish with that.
2 Corinthians 4:8,9 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 2 Cor 13: We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 14Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. 15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
So pretty much everything we go through, hardships, pain, etc… all work together to bring us to the GLORY OF GOD. (Which REALLY means, bringing us to the understanding of the MYSTERY of who we are in CHRIST.
Colossians 1:27
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
The Hope of Glory = God making what he hid INSIDE US, which is CHRIST, manifest to us and the world. Christ is the HOPE of that HIDDEN MYSTERY. (Christ is the hope of Glory)
This is why CHRIST (truth) comes in the GLORY OF GOD = The TRUTH reveals the MYSTERY of who we are.
So understanding the GLORY OF GOD, is to understand CHRIST, which is his revealed MYSTERY.
Let’s now look at some of these scriptures with new eyes.
Colossians 1:27
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: – GLORY is the REVEALING of CHRIST IN US, the Hope of Glory (hidden TRUTH)
Deuteronomy 5:24
And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.
(God showed that God lives in Man and talks with man (gives his thoughts to man as Man’s own)
Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God = Enlightenment reveals the Mystery of Christ
John 11:40
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? – Glory of God is CHRIST IN YOU. If you believe you will understand that CHRIST and YOU are ONE.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; – All have been ignorant and missed the TRUTH of CHRIST IN THEM/AS THEM.
2 Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. – The Glory of GOD comes by US!
Revelation 21:23
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
The GLORY OF GOD lightened everything… and the LAMB (CHRIST) was the LIGHT. – Glory of God = The Revealing of CHRIST IN US.
Now I wanted to save the best for last. Because I had a recent conversation with a Pastor over this verse.
Philippians 2:11
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
When I explained to a Bishop once, if everyone confesses Christ, how is anyone lost? He said, then it is too late. I replied, But the next line is “to the Glory of God the Father” and the Bishop said God will be glorified when they realize he is real and are punished… I looked at him with pitiful eyes, “So God is glorified by torturing people too ignorant to know the TRUTH?” He said, Yes! – I asked him, do you believe God can finish his creation in Victory and save all? – The Bishop said “No”
What MISUNDERSTANDING, terrible error, and it paints our God as a monster instead of a Loving Father using every experience as a took to bring us closer to the revelation of HIS GLORY (CHRIST IN US).
So let me close with what this means.
We know the GLORY OF GOD is the concealing of CHRIST IN US.
Philippians 2:11
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
So when everyone confesses Christ as Lord, they are confessing their TRUE NATURE, their TRUE LIFE (CHRIST IN THEM) and in this CONFESSION the mystery is finally revealed… The Confession of this, the understanding of this revelation, is made to the GLORY OF GOD.
THE REVEALED MYSTERY OF THE CONCEALED THING!
“It is the Glory of God to conceal a thing” And the GLORY IS CHRIST!
Now try and catch this! If you do, it will send chills racing your neck…
Matthew 17:8
And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
When you “come up higher” when you LOOK TO GOD for revelation, you will see there is ONLY CHRIST! … And I say, GLORY TO GOD FOR THAT!

GARDEN OF EDEN REVEALED
THE REAL LOCATION OF GARDEN OF EDEN
This paper is going to discuss the GARDEN of EDEN in great detail. It will show you where, and what, this GARDEN is. How ADAM/EVE (mankind/us) was cast out and how we can and will return.
I also will touch briefly on a revelation that hit me yesterday that ties in great with the GARDEN… That is the relationship between HEROD and JESUS. Let me start with that and I will transition into the Garden, Promise!
Like all my papers, take a wild guess what HEROD and JESUS represent… The story of the war WITHIN US! If I have said it once, I have said it a Kabillion times, the BIBLE IS OUR STORY.
That’s right Herod and Jesus is another wonderful allegory of how our “outer man” or “ego” or whatever you want to call the DEAD MAN (Ignorant carnal first state of man) and our INWARD MAN (Christ) are at odds. How the OUTWARD/CARNAL/ANTICHRIST nature of MAN wants to kill the TRUTH of who we are! The story of Jesus coming into this world, how Joseph and Mary had to flee and how Herod wanted this “Messiah” dead is a wonderful allegory for what is happening within each of us.
(Disclaimer: This is NOT to say that there wasn’t a literal Jesus or Herod. So settle down those in the Religious Peanut gallery. What I am saying is NONE OF THAT MATTERS. So let’s look at what does, the REVELATION of scripture)
The FLESH/CARNAL/EGO/OUTER MAN hates the INWARD MAN/CHRIST
Galatians 4:29
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
We see this in the stories of ESAU (Flesh) wanting to kill JACOB. Ishmael and Isaac. Cane and Abel. The list goes on and on. The FLESH profits nothing, to be carnally minded is DEATH, so of course the FLESH (ignorant/carnal thinking) will always want to put to death the SPIRIT (which is LIFE and peace). In other words, WHO WE THINK WE ARE is KILLING who we REALLY ARE.
Galatians 5:17
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other:
Romans 8:7
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So what is this telling us?
Well, that the CARNAL MAN (who we thought, or think, we are), The EGO who who believes to be the master of the universe, the one who believes “they are in control”, the EGO man is the ONLY ENEMY of God there is.
This CARNAL/EGO MAN is a creation of all of our experiences and brainwashing in this world. We were taught in this world to put our faith in our senses. (Sight, Touch, Taste, Smell, Hearing) and yet the Sixth sense is “I SEE DEAD PEOPLE” all around because of it!
The instant mankind was cast out of the GARDEN and starting living/existing OUTSIDE of THE GARDEN instead of WITHIN IT. Mankind DIED, they became scared of God, hid from God, in the BRANCHES AND TREES, (which I will explain in detail later) – MANKIND lost their unity of the SPIRIT and DIED (BECAME IGNORANT)
This is the FALL we ALL took place in. And it starts everytime we are born in this hellish world(lusts of the world).
We began to believe we were Joe, Bobbie, Tabitha, etc. etc… we began to believe we “our EGO nature” is all there is. And the way we began to believe this was by eating from that TREE in the MIDDLE of the GARDEN we were told NOT TO EAT FROM. So what was that TREE? … Slow down there Tonto, I’ll get to it.
Let me frist start any explain where and what the GARDEN of EDEN really is. So we can put all of this “looking for the real location of Eden” behind us. I know if this TRUTH got out, the History would be peeved, well at least they could still look for the remains of the Arc. (I’m being sarcastic “church”.
So, I’ll explain what the GARDEN OF EDEN is, then I’m going to get all SCIENTIFIC on you. Now pay attention because this is REALLY AMAZING. I learned this years ago and thought it much more than a coincidence, back then. But like everything else I write, today was the day for me to write it and share it with you all. Then it WILL BE up to you to go to GOD WITHIN and see if it is true. (NEVER take the word of a MAN, Let every man be a liar, but let GOD BE TRUE.)
But, I believe that you will give a big “WOW” after reading this.
SO LET US BEGIN!
In the middle of the GARDEN, GOD placed ADAM (which I hope by now you understand is an allegory for all of MANKIND.) In fact the NAME ADAM in HEBREW is translated as MANKIND!
Okay, so back to the GARDEN. MANKIND was place INSIDE it. And inside the GARDEN there was a TREE that MANKIND(ADAM) was forbidden to EAT THE FRUIT OF… Now see if you can catch this.
Before eating the FRUIT (what this forbidden tree produced) of this TREE in the MIDDLE OF THE GARDEN, Mankind ONLY existed INSIDE/WITHIN the Garden. They were one with God and everything, there was no pain, fear, guilt, they were naked and were not ashamed. But AFTER eating the fruit of this cursed TREE in the MIDDLE of the GARDEN, Mankind began LIVING OUTSIDE OF THE GARDEN, and OUTSIDE of this Garden there is no peace. (Some of you caught that, for those who didn’t, continue on… por favor!)
QUESTION ONE: WHAT IS MAN?
Is man his body, flesh, blood and bones? Or IS MAN HIS thoughts?
ANSWER: Man is the SPIRIT/THOUGHTS that exist WITHIN his BODY.
I will simply explain this using scripture. So you see MAN is not the OUTWARD FORM, but really MAN exists WITHIN the OUTWARD FORM or APPEARANCE. (note: This will tie into Herod and Jesus soon)
EXPLANATION TIME:
MAN is made in the IMAGE OF GOD. Man is made in CHRIST. We become/are the body, mind, of Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
People are blind to who they are IN CHRIST, because of their EGO/CARNAL thinking. God only has ONE CHILD (Mankind) and that ONE CHILD are all either DEAD IN ADAM or ALIVE in CHRIST.
Colossians 3:4
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
CHRIST is our LIFE SOURCE. Man and CHRIST are ONE. The problem is the CARNAL MAN (antichrist) thinks “He or She” is separate from God and everyone else, he lives in the TEMPORAL SENSUAL WORLD, he lives and exists OUTSIDE of HIMSELF (CHRIST).
Religion even places God, Heaven, and Christ OUTSIDE of us and says Jesus is STILL TO RETURN. Man places the TRUTH far away, when the TRUTH is WITHIN and always has been WITHIN. The problem is, if you are DEAD IN ADAM (ignorance) you don’t know who you are and you are living by your senses in the temporal world. You exist OUTSIDE OF YOURSELF (Christ) … But when CHRIST who is our LIFE is revealed to us/appears, we live and exist ONLY WITHIN.
CHRIST is our LIFE. Christ is the IMAGE of GOD. And where is CHRIST FOUND AGAIN? …. WITHIN US!
Colossians 1:27

I went through all of this to SHOW YOU, that MANKIND (ADAM) was PLACED WITHIN the GARDEN of EDEN.
In other words, Mankind is not his body or anything EXTERIOR. The CARNAL MAN puts his faith and hope in everything outside of himself. The CARNAL man loves looking at themselves in the mirror, making muscles and all sorts of nonsence… (Or is that just me?) snicker, snicker… But CHRIST IS WITHIN us.
MANKIND (the IMAGE OF GOD) = CHRIST was placed WITHIN US.
Okay with that all said and done.
Genesis 2:8
And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
What do you think that GARDEN is “CHURCH”, the ONE Man was PLACED INSIDE.
If MAN is not Flesh, as the FLESH profits nothing. If MAN is the SPIRIT within the BODY. Paul says we are to know NO MAN after the Flesh, but after the SPIRIT!
I shouldn’t really even have to explain this, but MAN is NOT the EXTERIOR FORM, Man lives WITHIN the exterior form. But that doesn’t mean that MAN LIVES WITHIN where he should, and that is the cause of all the suffering in this world and our lives.
Romans 8:18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Catch that? Suffering presently because we put our faith and trust outside of ourselves, but the GLORY IS REVEALED IN US…
I digress, if MAN is NOT the EXTERIOR form. And we know MANKIND’S LIFE is CHRIST, which is SPIRIT not flesh and bone. Then MAN was PLACED within this BODY/FORM.
Isaiah 1:30
For ye shall be as a garden that hath no water.
I’ll come right out and tell you this…. The Garden is YOU! It is YOU, YOU, YOU! YOU are the GARDEN that CHRIST WAS PLACED IN. And DIED IN! And shall RESURRECT in.
John 19:41
Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre
Where was CHRIST crucified again? GOLGATHA (The place of the SKULL) – The TRUTH was killed WITHIN US, in our MINDS. This is why, there was a GARDEN, and in that GARDEN A NEW TOMB.
John 19:41
Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre
Translation: “Now in the place where our TRUE LIFE was put to death there was a BODY, and in this BODY a TOMB.”
Matthew 23:27
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
Where CHRIST (Our TRUE LIFE) was crucified there was a GARDEN and A TOMB. And CHRIST IS WITHIN. Killed at the PLACE OF THE SKULL. The Hope of Glory is not CHRIST coming OUTSIDE, but being REVEALED WITHIN.
WE, our BODIES, EGO’S, who we THINK WE ARE is the GARDEN of EDEN. God planted this GARDEN so he could place HIS IMAGE inside it TO TEND IT.
Why do you think Mary after, Jesus’s resurrection supposed him to be a GARDENER, the one who TENDS to the GARDEN (US)
The KINGDOM OF HEAVEN (Reign of GOD’S TRUTH/Christ) is WITHIN. And look at what it is compared to.
Luke 13:19
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.
The KINGDOM OF HEAVEN/CHRIST is all WITHIN US. We (who we think we are) is the GARDEN. And here the REIGN OF GOD’S WAYS is pictured as a TREE that GROWS into a GREAT TREE. (This TREE allegory will soon blow you away)
Because believe it or not this has SCIENTIFIC MERIT! Which I will soon get to.
So the GARDEN IS US, CHRIST is within us. So how did we begin to look for salvation outside of us? When did we begin to exist OUTSIDE OF OURSELVES (The Garden) instead of being one with the SPIRIT OF TRUTH within… Well let’s go to the beginning… Literally.
In GENESIS we see how ADAM/EVE were ONE until a deep SLEEP (ignorance) came upon MANKIND. a quick note, GOD DID THIS. He made MANKIND IGNORANT. There is a reason for this.
So, the SPIRIT OF GOD (ADAM) and the SOUL OF MAN (EVE) were SEPERATED –WITHIN THE GARDEN (US).
God did this because he knew it was not good for MANKIND TO BE ALONE (ONE)… So he separated the SOUL OF MAN from the SPIRIT OF GOD. Now we believe there are many, when truly there is only CHRIST.
WE are the GARDEN that all of this takes place IN.
What and who is the TREE OF LIFE (CHRIST) = WISDOM is a tree of life.
Proverbs 3:18
She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
What is the TREE that kills? What is the CURSED TREE that when EVE AND ADAM ate from the fruit of they DIED (Became IGNORANT)? You ask.
Well both of these TREES are WITHIN US.
Genesis 25:23
And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
Now here is where the SCIENCE of our anatomy makes you go, COOOOOOL!
When MANKIND ate of the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL, he DIED. Which means, Mankind (adam) became ignorant of his connection to God and everything. He was CAST OUT of the Garden.
This is pictured today as how all of us exist. We put our faith in what we see, touch, taste, smell, etc. That is what “we believe” is REAL TO US. And so we are LIVING outside OURSELVES (THE GARDEN) but in this exterior existence there will be no peace or freedom. Only thorns (cares of the world and lusts thereof)
So what was this NASTY TREE Mankind ate from that messed us up?
Well if we are the GARDEN PHYSICALLY, then the TREE in the MIDDLE OF US physically, would be called the NERVOUS SYSTEM!
WHATEVER JACOB! (Don’t believe me? Read on, IF YOU DARE!!!! Dun dun dunnnnnnn!)
It is interesting that our senses which is also our curse is in the Middle of us. It even looks like a TREE smack dab in the middle of us, don’t you think?
Here is a brief scientific explanation of what the NERVOUS SYSTEM does. And I clipped this from Kids Health. I figured a child like explanation was better for me, because I am not really that bright (insert smiley face)
ANATOMY OF THE NERVOUS SYSTEM: “If you think of the brain as a central computer that controls all bodily functions, then the nervous system is like a network that relays messages back and forth from the brain to different parts of the body. NERVES THAT BRANCH OUT? — Well, there is another revelation waiting there “CHURCH”. BRANCHES.
Jeremiah 33:15
In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
You see, a BRANCH in scripture is an allegory for a THOUGHT, or THOUGHTS. And yes, once again SCIENCE backs this all up. Check it “CHURCH”
“Neurobiologists have gained new insights into how neurons control growth of the intricate tracery of BRANCHES called dendrites that enable them to connect with their neighbors. Dendritic connections are the basic receiving stations by which neurons form the signaling networks that constitute the brain’s circuitry”
DENDRITES look like the branches of a TREE. Looks almost like a FOREST of BRANCHES, doesn’t it. This is why they are called the BRANCHES. “Branches of Thought” — It is also another reason I subtitled my NOVEL, THE CALLING “A VOICE IN THE DEAD WOODS”

Now here is where is gets COOL and WEIRD. This DENDRITIC CONNECTIONS are what makes our THOUGHTS… BRANCHES = THOUGHTS. Now watch this.
John 15:5
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
CHRIST is our LIFE, we (OUR THOUGHTS) are the EXPRESSION of that LIFE. Now wait it gets better.
John 15:2
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Every THOUGHT rooted in OUR LIFE’S TRUTH grows and flourishes. But every THOUGHT (BRANCH) that is NOT rooted in this LIFE will be destroyed!
This has nothing to do with literal people being cast into infinite torture and burned endlessly. HOGWASH! This scripture has to do with how God redeems us with the TRUTH. Every DENDRITIC CONNECTION, every BRANCH, every THOUGHT that doesn’t produce the FRUIT OF CHRIST will ultimately be cast away.
Remember, WE ARE THE GARDEN. Christ was placed INSIDE the GARDEN to TEND IT.
John 20:15
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
But CHRIST (the TRUTH) died the INSTANT MANKIND’S SOUL followed after the SNAKE HANGING on that TREE (NERVOUS SYSTEM) in the middle.
Now here is where it gets REALLY weird. There is LITERALLY A SNAKE hanging from that TREE (The nervous system). It is called the REPTILIAN BRAIN. Don’t believe me? Well, look it up, or just read on, yet another scientific paragraph I clipped for you.
THE REPTILIAN BRAIN/COMPLEX

The REPTILIAN brain is bascially our lowest ANIMAL LIKE NATURE. The beastly qualities found in man. When we are seduced away by this, the LOWEST PART of our TRIUNE BRAIN (Limbic system, neo-cortex, Reptilian cortex) – We exist in the LUSTS OF THIS WORLD.
This is the SNAKE (our basest carnal thoughts) that is constantly trying to get us to bow down and worship him. And the most enlightening phrase in the above article is that the REPTILIAN BRAIN is highly resistant to change.
THE FLESH (sensual/carnal thinking) hates the SPIRIT (Truth,God, Our LIFE/CHRIST)
Romans 8:5
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
ONCE MANKIND started EATING (assimilating their knowledge) through the FRUIT (SENSES) provided by the NERVOUS SYSTEM (TREE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GARDEN). Mankind began to exist OUTSIDE of themselves, and it was the SNAKE that got us to do so.
Think about your life. What brings you comfort and joy? What makes you feel stable?
I would lying if I were to say, I didn’t care what people thought of me. I would be deceiving you all if I were to say that when I am hurt by people it doesn’t get me down. I would be lying if I were to say the weather and my circumstances don’t dictate my mood. I would be lying to you all if I said, “I don’t care if I’m in debt” and if I said, “I don’t feel safe with more money in the bank, I feel safe because I TRUST SOLEY IN GOD.”
Here is my point, even with ALL OF THIS understanding, that the TRUTH is WITHIN and that the answers are not WITHOUT. I myself find it hard to RE-ENTER the Garden of God while my EXTERNAL (CARNAL MAN) is fighting to keep me focused on the FRUIT of the TREE (NERVOUS SYSTEM).
But the TRUTH is within us all, and we will OVERCOME THE WORLD, because CHRIST IN US overcame it first. But why is it so hard to just ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM once and for all! Why do we struggle, suffer, etc, etc?
Well, there was placed at the GARDEN entrance something to KEEP US from re-entering in again.
Genesis 3:24
So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
What you’ll find interesting is these CHERUBIM are also woven in the VEIL that keeps people from the holiest of holies. These CHERUBIM are also on either side of the MERCY SEAT, keeping the MERCY SEAT in DARKNESS/SHADOW.
So let me tell you what these CHERUBIM are. The TRANSLATION for CHERUBIM is “IMAGINERY CREATURE” – which means, THEY DON’T EXIST.
This CHERUBIM is WHO WE THINK WE ARE. I know this is a lot of take in. But our CARNAL EGO is what keeps the TRUTH hidden WITHIN. It is our CARNAL EGO that keeps us LIVING OUTSIDE THE GARDEN (US) instead of WITHIN (where God and Christ sit)
Isaiah 37:16
O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between/WITHIN the cherubims.
Where else does God dwell “church”? … IN US!
Hebrews 9:5
And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
A SHADOW blocks the LIGHT. The CHERUBIM keep the TRUTH HIDDEN within. This is what is keeping us from ENTERING INTO ETERNAL LIFE. (to know God and who we are)
This is why we must DIE TO OURSELVES (OUR EGO) You see, it is this COVERING CHERUB (flesh/carnal ego) that is keeping us from entering in.
Which brings us to HEROD and JESUS.
HEROD wanted JESUS dead. The ORIGINAL meaning and translation of the word “HEROD” from the GREEK, means “Outer covering, appearance” and Heroic.
Isn’t that something. HEROD – the OUTER COVERING/APPEARANCE/MAN’S FLESH wants to KILL Christ.
Remember, Herod was only a TEMPORARY KING set up by CARNAL MAN. He did not want to stop being in control. This is a symbol of why MANKIND teaches and believes “they are in control”, this antichrist nature in MAN wants to KILL the TRUTH for fear of losing control.
And while HEROD was on the hunt for CHRIST. Christ was forced to go HIDE IN EGYPT. (Bondage of the Flesh) – And it wouldn’t be until the OUTER COVERING CHERUB/HEROD (Man’s carnal nature is KILLED OFF) that CHRIST can RETURN to be revealed to ISRAEL.
Matthew 2: 19But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life. 21And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.
So there is our entrance again into the GARDEN. The Hope of Glory is CHRIST WITHIN US, this is our TRUE NATURE.
For we were baptized into Christ’s death in the GARDEN, GOLGATHA, in our THINKING. But we are also RESURRECTED with CHRIST IN LIFE.
So stop eating from that TREE WITHIN. Stop putting your faith in the SEEN, FELT, TASTED, AND HEARD, and start putting your faith in the UNSEEN.
Romans 8: 23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

BOOK OF JONAH REVEALED
As promised in my article, “Signs and Blunders” this article is going to take the entire book of Jonah and break it down to reveal the “story beneath the story” which of course will deal directly with us. I will be translating some of the words from the Hebrew, which will open a great deal of insight to us, as well as looking at this story the way God intended, allegorically, which will Glorify God in the process.
Proverbs 25:2 – It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.
Now, remember no scripture is of private interpretation so everything I write below may be a bunch of nonsense, I doubt that, but you must go WITHIN, go to God to get the revelation of a thing. As I know…
James 1:5 – If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, without reproach; and it shall be given him.
So let’s get this party started with the BOOK OF JONAH.
JONAH 1
Jonah 1:1 – Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
First, let’s look at what “came” to Jonah. It was the “WORD OF THE LORD”. And what is the WORD of God? It is the TRUTH, which is revealed in CHRIST (Our Enlightened state). Hopefully, by now, we know that the Hope of Glory is CHRIST WITHIN for without.
So this TRUTH of God was revealed within Jonah’s thoughts/mind. Because the WORD OF THE LORD is TRUTH
John 17:17 -Sanctify them through thy TRUTH: thy WORD IS TRUTH.
This TRUTH has the power to Sanctify (free mankind from error and lies) those that heard it and believed it. Which is God’s predestined plan for us all, regardless of what some “relgious people” would have you to believe.
Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
He chose us, before forming us, to be HOLY AND WITHOUT BLAME. Please catch that “Church”. We all have been predestined to the adoption of Christ to himself, for the good pleasure of God’s will. Which is… TO HAVE ALL SAVED AND COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH AND STATURE OF THE PERFECT MAN (christ)
So, this “TRUTH” came to Jonah. Now, how did it come? Was it a spoken word? Did the clouds literally part, and God say, “YO JONAH GET YOUR SKINNY BUT TO NINEVAH OR ELSE!” Of course not.
We are talking about TRUTH here, and TRUTH is only known as a THOUGHT or the THOUGHTS in our HEAD (thinking). There is the thought of Truth and the thought of Lies. The only way to HEAR (Understand) the TRUTH is done within. So much for people hearing God LITERALLY speaking to them.
Hebrews 8:10
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
God’s word only comes to us through our MINDS, in our THOUGHTS. God’s word/TRUTH “came” to Jonah, the same way A THOUGHT comes to our mind. It was REVEALED. The thought pf TRUTH and his PURPOSE ENTERED HIS MIND and he understood what it was he should do.
Jonah did NOT hear a literal voice talking to him it was the THOUGHTS IN HIS HEAD, which Jonah had come to understand to be GOD. He learned what most of us learn through experience, to tell the difference between God’s truth and Satan’s (carnal man’s ego) lies.
But for those who don’t believe that this is how Jonah understood what he must do, then just look at what the word “CAME” from that 1st scripture means in Hebrew.
Came =”REVEALED, ENTER INTO, DRAW NEAR”.
Cool right? So the TRUTH was REVEALED within Jonah, much as things are revealed to us, about our lives, passions, and things we must do.
But here is where it gets REAL INTERESTING. Let’s look at the name JONAH and what it means. We can learn so much from the meaning of names and JONAH is yet another great example.
In Hebrew JONAH means “DOVE”.
Dove’s are MESSENGERS, they are the perfect picture of the HOLY SPIRIT, which “brings to remembrance the TRUTH to our heart that Christ spoke us”
Jonah was a MESSENGER indeed and THIS DOVE had a Father whose name also opens the eyes of our understanding in this parable.
Jonah (Dove) is the SON of “AMITTAI” which translates into “MY TRUTH”…
Okay so let’s put it all together now.
So Jonah is God’s MESSENGER whose FATHER was GOD’S TRUTH. the TRUTH gave birth to the MESSENGER. (Just a neat little factoid for you all).
So it should be evident now that we are dealing with THOUGHT. And not just the thought of TRUTH revealed within Jonah, but this story is a picture of how the TRUTH/WORD/CHRIST comes to all of us. For we are all SONS AND DAUGHTER of GOD’S TRUTH when we are born again. YOU will see this story is as much yours as it is Jonah’s and mine. God speaks to us in our MINDS and HEARTS.
Deuteronomy 6:6
And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
The Trick is testing the spirits (thoughts) to see if they be God or not. Now I have a very simple method I use to do this.
1) Does the thought make me feel at peace?
2) Does the thought encourage, forgive, love others?
3) Does this thought stretch me and encourage me to do the
right thing, even though the wrong thing would be easier?
I look at these examples and more and this is how I know if these “words” be of God or not. And if the thought has me to do harm to anyone or anything I know it ain’t God speaking. God is GOOD all the time, and his thoughts for us are evident. If the thought gives us fear, worry, or dread, it is the voice of the DEAD (adam/carnal man) or that Father of Lies, SATAN.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
If the thoughts in our head empower us, help us to love, and we are at peace with these thoughts, they are the WORDS OF GOD (TRUTH)
Okay, moving on.
2Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
God’s Messenger of TRUTH knew he had to go to NINEVAH because THE PEOPLE there were a hot mess.
Now, pay attention now because everything is an allegory in scripture. NINEVAH is a symbol of those in the world, and even those THOUGHTS in US that are not rooted in TRUTH.
But let’s check out what NINEVAH MEANS in the native tongue and what their people represent.
NINEVAH means “Abode of NINUS” – An abode/dwelling place/tabernacle – The word abode is the same that is used for God’s spirit which ABIDES with in us… So, the ABODE is the TEMPLE OF something, it should be GOD, But here we learn in the translation, that Ninevah means the ABODE OF NINUS….
And WHO IS NINUS? You ask… Well get ready, because it is quite a coinky dinky!
NINUS – Child of BAAL — So Ninevah literally means, it is the DWELLING PLACE OF BAAL’S CHILD or CHILDREN. And what is BAAL (Lord)( Idoltary)
Baal was the false god that everyone was worshipping. Now here is where it gets a little eery. Let me just describe Baal for you. For this BAAL bull (bull cult) – Think about what is standing outside wallstreet that big old Bull, the worship of money, material things, the temporal… But this BAAL strikes a similar resemblance to a “Son of God” we all know and love, Jesus. So why would so many would worship this false exterior God, BAAL. Well BAAL was said to be the SON OF EL. Jesus is said to the Son of God, same thing. Baal was said to give increase in all areas, harvest, livestock, love life etc. Today preachers teach comes to JESUS and he will give you increase in all the areas of your life… Hhhhmmmn… The Cannanites were addicted to BAAL worship, where Priests would hold services for him in Temples. The same is true with how many worship Jesus today. But if that ain’t enough, check it “church.” – “Baal was born of a virgin. Jesus born of a Virgin. Baal killed as a propitiation for sin. Jesus killed for the sins of the world. Baal was gloriously resurrected as God, and Son of God. Jesus resurrected as well. (Now these mythical legends date from 4000 years before Christ!) And check out this vain tradition, each year, the Canaanites celebrated the annual death and resurrection of Baal as a part of their fertility rituals… Can anyone here say we do the same with the J to the E to the S to the U to the S. Also Baal was said to come again and defeat all his enemies and REIGN! – Quite a coincidence.
And we wonder why Elijah screamed, Lord they have torn down your altars… EVERYONE was into this LORD worship (Baal). They had statues, paintings, temples, altars, and Elijah looked around and not one stood for the TRUTH of God. I can relate to Elijah.
Isn’t that something? The whole world was mystified by worshipping this BAAL, which or course existed outside of themselves, a BAAL that is soon to come, not a Savior that exists within, but without. Sound’s a lot like the Jesus RELIGION teaches doesn’t it.
Remember Baal’s profits (mispelling on purpose) had to do all sorts of rituals, traditions, chanting, dancing, etc etc… They had to DO STUFF to get THEIR SAVIOR BAAL to answer them. And NOTHING HAPPENED. Because they believed in a SAVIOR that could not save. Like the majority today.
Isaiah 45:20
Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
How many have fish on their cars, crosses on their necks, jesus rings, etc. etc. Our Savior is not a Man standing 6 feet tall with a rocking beard, piercing blue eyes, etc etc… Our SAVIOR is the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, the WORD OF GOD, God’s SON (CHILD/IMAGE) that LIGHTS everyone from the womb.
But let’s put that behind us, my only point in bringing this up, is that there are many today that believe they are worshipping Jesus, but are in fact worshipping BAAL (a FALSE LORD/JESUS) unknowingly. So test those spirits people. If you are worshipping a PHYSICAL MAN AFTER THE FLESH, and waiting for that PHYSICAL MAN to return, then you may want to rethink some things.
2 Corinthians 5:16
Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
We need to worship and know JESUS CHRIST as SPIRIT(thoughts of Gods truth) not Flesh. And the HOPE OF THAT GLORY (Revealed mystery) is found WITHIN. Christ IN YOU. Not outside you, coming soon, etc etc.
But I digress,
So God tells Jonah to get over to those meatheads in Ninevah and tell them to repent, and seek GOD within and not without.
I like to think, WHAT IF Jonah’s story was mine? What would happen if one day I just knew (God’s word came to me) that I needed to stand up and tell the world how wrong they were worshipping a Savior that will never save, because it is not the TRUE CHRIST that is only found within.
We hear everyone talking of Christ coming again, as opposed to seeing(understanding) that the TRUTH will be REVEALED again in A REMNANT.
And let me quick point out something from the original text about Jesus coming again, and what that WORD “COME” means.
Matt 24: 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
When Christ “comes” you won’t literally see a SINGLE MAN. First of all, secondly, how does he “COME” AGAIN?
MATT 23: 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Christ “comes” as POWERFUL BURSTS OF ILLUMINATION. Caused BY FRICTION between HEAVEN AND EARTH. Christ comes as ENLIGHTENMENT. Don’t believe me wait…
Now let me translate the WORD comes for you, as he “COMES” as it was in NOAH’S DAY… The WORD come in HEBREW, means “Presence, Revealed.” —
Look at this sentence to help you better understand this hidden mystery. In SHORT STORY.
“John once believe his Savior was outside of him, but ONE DAY, he CAME TO REALIZE that the SPIRIT OF CHRIST was within.”
This is the way CHRIST COMES (REVEALED, UNVEILED, PRESENCE IS KNOWN)
They shall see (Percieve) the Son of man coming in the clouds (witnesses) of heaven (heaven is WITHIN YOU) with power and great glory.
But back to Jonah and what if, if was me, God was telling this too. What if I was supposed to go to some big name Church/Temple/Mosque/Kingdom Hall/etc and stand before them and say… “YOU’RE ALL WRONG and GOD IS GOING TO DESTROY your religion if you don’t repent!”
I would probably do what Jonah did, “Nah! God doesn’t want me to REALLY do that, I’m going to stay as far away from these “Ninevites” (children of Baal = children of idolatry and lies) as possible.
3But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
So the TRUTH of God is revealed to JONAH, and he flees to TARSHISH, which is known to be a MARKET PLACE, where silver, gold, and precious stones and metals are esteemed above everything else.
In Psalms 48, we see that even the KINGS who saw the great TRUTH of God feared and ran away as Jonah did, and guess where too? TARSHISH. It is a symbol of the world, finance, trade, FITTING IN. Like most of us, when we first hear (understand) what we must do, we don’t want to do it, we head in the opposite direction, not toward God, but toward the world and its ways.
4But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.
And this is something we should all learn right here and now, for all you FREE WILLERS out there… Sure we have a choice, but GOD’S WILL, will ALWAYS be done. And it is GOD’S WILL that ALL BE SAVED… This was Jonah’s problem to begin with, he knew eventually God would change their hearts, he didn’t want to be persecuted and hurt or killed by these knuckleheads when he knew darn well, God was going to do it regardless.
You see, Jonah could have listened and headed straight for that wicked (ignorant) place and their people. Who knows he might have had some Princess Cruise line to escort him over there, he might have even gotten to sing Kareoke on board and dance the night away… BUT! He didn’t listen. HE RAN AWAY FROM GOD.
According to most religious leaders out there, if you run from God, GOD WILL LET YOU and then in the end he will BURN YOU FOREVER!
But we see this is not the case. God made sure Jonah would fulfill his purpose. So don’t any of you tell me, we can somehow RUN AWAY FROM GOD’S PLAN IN OUR LIVES.
God is no respecter of persons, he does not esteem one better than another as men do, so what he does for Jonah, he does for us. Jonah didn’t want to listen, so a GREAT WIND was sent out into the sea.
Now this is another great allegory “church” –
WIND = Doctrine/teaching – SEA = Carnal Humanity… Proof?
Ephesians 4:14 – That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine
Revelation 17:15 -And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
Jonah left the TRUTH of God and his PURPOSE to go down to the SEA and do business in Tarshish. This is a picture of how God works all things to his good. Leaving the TRUTH of God is bad, the REBUKE from God is good and returns these “Mariners” back to their intended place. Take a look at this…
Pslams 107 – 23They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; 24These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep. 25For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof. 26They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble. 27They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit’s end. 28Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. 29He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. 30Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven. 31Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Job said, his days of humanity were are swift as a SHIP. A SHIP is a symbol of the VESSEL (our soul) that carries the CHRIST WITHIN. And when our SHIP enters the SEA (the ways of the world) than we are tossed back and forth, we are troubled and we cry out in those times of trouble. You see, we brought this upon ourselves by not listening to God’s purpose and plan for us to begin with, but the good news is GOD ONLY DOES WHAT HE WILLS… And it is GOD’S will that ALL BE SAVED… Which is why he sent Jonah his MESSENGER OF HIS TRUTH to Ninevah (dwelling place of BAAL’S kids)
5Then the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep. 6So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.
So the troubles come upon JONAH, and when trouble come upon us, we too find CHRIST fast asleep. (Unconscious) of the distress. As Jonah was.
“Church” when you dream, everyone and everything you experience in your dream represents you…
So too, in scripture every detail represents us. Think about it, just like when we are in trouble, we WAKE UP THE CHRIST WITHIN… God help us, we cry! We may even know as Jonah knew what we did wrong to have this stuff brought upon us.
7And they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they cast lots, and the lot fell upon Jonah. 8Then said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; What is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou? 9And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land. 10Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.
JONAH, the DOVE OF GOD’S TRUTH fled from the presence of the LORD. Want to know who else did this? ADAM (all of MANKIND) –
We have all headed toward TARSHISH, we want to squeak out a living on our terms. We leave God’s WORD and instruction and head toward the world. And the instant our SHIP (soul) hits those waters the CHRIST WITHIN (God’s messenger of TRUTH) falls asleep… Becomes unconscious. Leaving the CARNAL MAN at the HELM. Those that worship MANY GODS.
11Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.
At this point in our lives, LIFE STINKS! We don’t know what to do, where to go, You see, this story is all about us. The WORLD around us, is crumbling before our eyes, debt is piling, marriages ending, fights, anger, hater, the SEA (man’s worldly thinking and ways) becomes a NIGHTMARE.
Ever wonder why Jesus walked ABOVE the WATERS OF THE WORLD. The TRUTH exists ABOVE the influence and nonsense of the sensual world. And once you take your eyes of the TRUTH, like Peter DID, you fall right back into old ways, thinking, and patterns.
So, the Mariners came to Jonah to wake him up. Much as the disciples did for and to Jesus when the storms arose for them… NOW PLEASE CATCH THE BEAUTY of this next line. You see, GOD’S MESSAGE OF TRUTH (Holy spirit) (Christ within) JONAH/DOVE knows exactly how to calm the STORMS OF OUR LIFE (ship in the sea)
12And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.
DID YOU CATCH THAT? Read it again… this time, I am going to replace a couple of words to help you.
12 Take up THE TRUTH (raise it up, let it be your PRIMARY THOUGHT WITHIN YOU), and cast THE TRUTH into the HEART OF THE WORLD AND MANKIND; and the WORLD WILL NEVER TROUBLE YOU AGAIN…
So why did God send these storms again? TO WAKE UP THE TRUTH WITHIN YOU! Look at what Jonah says…

(This is why we see TROUBLE. God sends these STORMS, to GIVE BIRTH TO PREDETERMINED TRUE IDENTITY and PURPOSE in Christ)
READ IT AGAIN.

Picture the hard times in our lives as labor pain that attack us, and get so bad that we finally have to give up, bare down, and give birth!
Galatians 4:19
My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Suffering is part of the process. Our suffering is meant to WAKE US UP to the TRUTH of who we are IN CHRIST. To take us OFF THE PATH of the world and put us back on track, with REPENTANCE. (To CHANGE our focus) from the sensual world to the spiritual TRUTH that is within all men from the womb. (John 1)
13Nevertheless the men rowed hard to bring it to the land; but they could not: for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous against them.
Here is where we mess us though. We allow the knucklehead Carnal EGO US to still make the moves. Even after understanding it is our self effort that got us in trouble. We still don’t return to God. We try and FIX it on our own, we still let ADAM handle it.
We screw up by leaving the will of God for our lives and tough times come, and most of us STAY THERE and try and fight against the tide pushing us to where God wants us to be.
An precious friend of mine Elaine Cooke once told me, “Let peace be your umpire”. The Eagle builds its nest so it will soon get uncomfortable for its babies, they get heavy enough and the nest starts cutting into them, they have no choice but to JUMP and FLY! God works the same way in our life. And Jonah is the perfect example of this. You see, God cannot fail. Despite what you have been told or heard, GOD WILL FINISH HIS CREATION IN VICTORY! – That’s written folks.
So if we, like Jonah, say “No way!” and then we head in the opposite direction. God will leave those 99 with him to chase your skinny or wrinkly but down to get you back into the fold.
And oh boy did Jonah get chased down. So much for total free will. Sure we can choose to go in a different direction, IF WE WANT TO SUFFER until we change direction and get back on course. “Church” That is what a good father does in the natural, he corrects. However, GOD IS PERFECT. And God ONLY does what he WILLS (predetermines)
1 Timothy 2:4
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
This isn’t lip service. God has a PURPOSE AND PLAN and that is to TURN the CARNAL MAN away from his wicked ways, to CAST OFF his old thinking and to embrace the TRUTH of WHO MANKIND IS, (God created child).
When we leave the TRUTH of God, the straight and narrow, you enter TORMENT and destruction. But that is good news people… because.
Acts 14:22
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
This TRIBULATION that we find in the WORLD (mans carnal ways) eventually humbles us and lead us to the TRUTH. Even the most carnal of men will finally give up their fight and do what GOD has told them to do… WE ALL REAP WHAT WE SOW, and we will not leave until we pay the last farthing… (whatever the heck a farthing is!)
So the STORMS in our life come and we have to TAKE UP CHRIST (JONAH) – Take up the TRUTH and cast it INTO OUR TROUBLE SEA (wildly spinning worldly thoughts of worry, fear, hate, lust, etc)
15So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.
The INSTANT the MESSAGE of TRUTH is received in the SEA (the hearts of all carnal and worldly men and women) – The troubles cease.
They RAISED UP JONAH, as CHRIST WAS RAISED.
17Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
First let me address these 3 days and 3 nights. A SPIRITUAL TRIMESTER, after the TRIMESTER IS UP CHRIST IS BORN, and you are BORN AGAIN or RESURRECTED.
The GREAT FISH is simple to interpret – It is MANKIND. Once the TRUTH OF CHRIST is cast into the WORLD (mankinds thoughts) it is SWALLOWED (INGESTED, ASSIMILATED, BECAME ONE WITH)
Jesus said, that we must EAT HIS FLESH and DRINK HIS BLOOD – to become one with him.
The problem is most people don’t know what to do with it. They take the TRUTH OF CHRIST and turn it into a LITERAL CARNAL thing.
Well when the GREAT FISH (Mankind’s EGO) swallowed the TRUTH, it ends up making that FISH SICK.
JONAH CHAPTER TWO
Jonah 2: 1Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly,
So for those of you literalists out there, we have YET ANOTHER allegory for you. The word BELLY! And no, this is not speaking of a FISH’S BELLY LITERALLY here, but it is talking about what swallowed up whole the MESSENGER OF GODS TRUTH (Jonah, Christ)
You see the BELLY is another allegory for the SOUL of mankind. The SOUL, our sense of being, don’t believe me?
Proverbs 13:25
The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.
Psalm 44:25
For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.
Job 15:35
They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepareth deceit.
THE BELLY is the SOUL/sense of being OF MAN. You see this is a picture of the TRUTH OF GOD, being buried deep into the depths of our SOUL. Our SOUL ruling, our SOUL reigning, and the TRUTH/CHRIST/JONAH trapped deep within it.
At first, we pray out of our SOULISH UNDERSTANDING. We may even recite prayers we were taught. We really don’t know how to pray or what to pray for. A great example is when someone hurts us, and we hate them for it, our SOULISH prayer for them is “Lord show them how wrong they are” HA! — What meatheads we are when the TRUTH OF GOD is trapped in our BELLY (inside out SOULISH/CARNAL UNDERSTANDING)
When we become spiritual, our prayer becomes, “Lord teach me what I need to learn from this, forgive me for being angry with them, help me to be light to others, and deliver me from my hate and lusts”
2And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
Here is another interesting tid bit, Jonah prayed our of the BELLY OF HELL. Man’s CARNAL SOUL is HELL, it is the place we are sent when we leave the TRUTH of God for Man’s ways. Christ also was sent to HELL (man’s carnal soul) to deliver those trapped there. (Seeing a trend yet?)
3For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. 4Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple. 5The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
This is our story “Church” this is what happened to us all. We were all cast into the DEEP, in the midst of WORLDLY LUSTS AND WAYS, and the floods of lies, tradition and vanity passed over our true nature (Christ in us). We were lost, WEEDS (lies) strangling any bit of truth in our minds. We are in HELL indeed, trapped in the carnality of our soul, CORRUPT (ignorant)
6I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God. 7When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
For a moment we, like Jonah, were trapped, the TRUTH OF WHO WE ARE (GOD’S IMAGE AND CHILD) in the prison of our own carnal vanity. But because of our suffering, we begin to see, the VANITY of MANKINDS WAYS.
8They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
When we follow after LIES, when we pretend that we are in control, and continue on a path of separation (in our thinking) we forsake MERCY, PEACE, AND JOY. We are in control. We can choose the easy road to redemption, by giving in to what God is telling us is true, or we can follow after the world and suffer until we do.
9But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD. 10And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
NOTICE THESE WORDS…. ; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
Now for those of you who say, we CHOOSE SALVATION, our WORKS are what get us in… you are like the Men on the Ship rowing and fighting against the storm that God is sending to TURN YOU AROUND (REPENT)
Because SALVATION is not of MAN, it is OF THE LORD!
The instant we realize our “lives” are out of our control, and GOD’S WILL, WILL BE DONE, the instant we say “Not my will Lord, but Yours” – That is the instant CHRIST IS REVEALED from within.
And then the TRUTH can stand on the SHORE (a firmer foundation of TRUTH and Understanding) AND we can then go off and teach others. As Jonah did, hopefully without all the FISH PUKE ON US. Although, we will have remnants of our soulish filth still clinging to us, because we are a work in progress.
JONAH is our story as much as it is his. Learn from Jonah, learn. Don’t continue to follow man toward riches and tradition, be Bold, proclaim GOD’S WILL BE DONE.
That way, if you turn right and it is wrong, you understand God will use your mistake to correct you. It is WIN WIN people. That is the GOOD NEWS, no one FAILS! But if we listen right away and turn the way God intended for us to begin with, then we get to that place without so much as a bad vibe.
We must Love, Forgive, Be Charitable, compassionate, and most importantly we must listen to what the Lord wants of our lives.
If storms arise and things get uncomfortable and no matter how hard you try things aren’t changing. Set your eyes on God, and your situation will change. I hope this simple essay has in some way helped. Much love to you and yours, Jacob
